What’s your take on the whole thing?

Read her original statement in the actual court documents. Case closed. She's trying to get a bag of money. Of course as "Jane Doe".
She snorted ketamine off of an erect penis. She agreed to a threesome. She agreed to do more and more drugs. She was fine until she went home and she realized what she had done and agreed to do and decided to spin it when she found out rumors were already spreading about it.
She needs to be exposed. Her name. Her identity. And her entire first account of what "happened".
The online bandwagon of support this anonymous woman is getting from crazy lunatics who know nothing about this case is not shocking. Same ones supporting Lindsey Clancy.

This sounds very familiar.
There was a similar “gang rape” case at my college where a sorority pledge fricked five members of a fraternity. It got out and she got called before her sorority standards board, at which point she claimed rape.
It was very ugly to say the least.

My take is she doesn’t have the same morals as I do but says she engage consensually in the conduct or said it at one time. On those facts, not my business even though I think all need to rethink their lives.
As to whether she truly consented - putting aside what can be proven - it could be that in reality she didn’t consent to all of it. She DEF consented to some of it imo based on what I read.
And I think very poorly of a public campaign to create a one-sided narrative to get money.
With drugs/alcohol and sex, I think men do need to have a higher level of discernment, but I dial down my victim sentiment in these situations. Adults make their own decisions and have to deal with them. I look at the facts and evidence and try not to jump to conclusions either way.
But tbh, the facts aren’t any of my business. Public sentiment and reactions are. I often focus a lot on that.

I want to personally keep this story alive until all the facts come out so that the internet conclusions jumping crusaders have to face reality.
There are several already who are still swinging at strike 5. They’ll never get it. And now we have an actual woman in this thread also calling her out on her bs
In the words of Frozen….let it go

In this day and age I dont think anything is out of the realm of possibility. We have furries wanting to have cat sex, dudes who want to be women so they can have lesbian sex, and regular old sexual predators. All sickos in my opinion. I guess what im saying is its just as possible this promiscuous young lady may have said you better get some working dicks in here if your drunk arse cant perform as much as an unsolicited group text going out saying theres passed out free pussy in here. Freaks exist. Sometimes theyre female. Sometimes theyre scumbag rapist men. Either way, some freak in this instance fricked up royally and deserves A LOT of prison sex.

The facts are that she claimed in her initial story that she willfully took drugs and willfully participated in sex with 2 dudes, who she claimed were more inebriated than she was, and then 2 years later she is claiming a very different story, and she is seeking a large financial payout.
The snapchat group message picture is obviously not a good look, but it doesn't prove anything.
So at this point, it will be hard, if not impossible to find any real evidence of what she is claiming, and its basically all he said she said.
The big result is that these dudes will have their lives basically ruined, this jane doe will be put on a pedestal as a martyr, and Cornell will have a big black eye because they "didn't do enough."

The timing of all this is interesting. Right before mid terms. This will be used in campaigns as a call to action. It’s being spun as a DJP is a rapist and is partly responsible for this. This isn’t going anywhere and it will be spun to get women to the booths.

It proves that they are slimeballs.
So yeah, “not a good look” might mean having to find a lawyer and/or new employment….

Looks to me a money play. It sure seemed all was consensual by her statements in the initial interview.
It certainly could be. I'm curious to see what the facts show when all of this plays out.

I do, sometimes, struggle with the logical consistency of what being drunk excuses and what it doesn't. For example, the first two guys in the threesome were apparently more lit up than she was. Does that mean she raped them? We also don't ever excuse drunk driving no matter the circumstances. We don't excuse adultery on grounds of being drunk. We don't excuse abusing your spouse on grounds of being intoxicated. In pretty much every case of something bad happening because of the choice to get wasted, we say the person is still reponsible for their choices. Again, if someone gets a drug slipped to them without their knowledge, I get the argument and agree it's SA/rape but if you willingly get plastered and consent verbally during the encounter but decide later it was a bad choice, I don't think that's the same thing.
We'll see what category this case fits into as the facts come out.

You're low-balling her. She willingly had sex with Male 1,2,3,and 4.

I’m just reading about this, why is this getting looked at again?
If one person said that everytime she requested the orgy to stop and the men complied, then how is it rape?
Why was she snorting ketamine?

google why people snort ketamine recreationally. It gets you high. Like any drug and alcohol, if you do too much...
btw they say online that when you snort ketamine, the effects last half hour to an hour.

It gets you high until you take too much and end up in a k hole drooling on yourself while slouched over in a corner.

The problem with this case and others like it is that conjecture and hearsay are very difficult to prove to the extent required for prosecution.
Without a rape kit you cannot prove beyond a doubt that anyone did anything.
Unlike the Maddie Brooks case where she died and a blood tox, dna swabs, physical examination was done AND it was filmed.. this case will go to court with a Snapchat as proof?
Regardless, it seems like these boys are headed for the Duke Lacrosse treatment in the public arena.
