This cancel culture sucks! When did the idea that a person doesn’t have the ability to separate their profession from their personal life.

Why is it ok for a person with liberal / socialist/ communist ideas to be in any profession and thought a hero while someone that leans conservative and supports upholding the constitution and believes in law and order is viewed as the enemy?

This country is so fricked and will be for a long time

Play stupid games, win stupid prizes (for the officers who entered the Capitol)

Wow. Amazing how someone writing a piece like this can just throw something like this into it like it's simply fact

Oh I’ve left story after story here of BS like this during supposed hard news segments from the networks, for example instead of saying “Biden is slated to be sworn in on January 20th while Donald Trump still is contesting the vote due to alleged voter fraud...” it is reported as “Biden is slated to be sworn in on January 20th while Donald Trump continues to push his false claims of voter fraud...” It’s so blatant and yet obviously they have no shame in reporting like this. The network news companies are in lockstep shams. Completely skewed and biased reporting. You’re not getting the news, you’re getting their opinion of the news.

My understanding the ones being arrested actually entered the Capitol with photo evidence or admitted to such. I could have missed it, but I don’t think solely attending the rally and avoiding the ensuing shite show is cause for arrest or losing your job.

A detective in my city has been "reassigned" because he attended the rally even though there is no evidence at all that he was at the Capitol Building and has come out and condemned the actions that occurred there all because 6 public defenders in the area requested it.

“The door was wide open and police officers were actually handing bottles of water out to people that came in.”

Yep. Just look at the adjectives they use to describe things and the bias cannot be more evident. You rarely saw the term unsubstantiated when there was reporting of purported Russian collusion, but it's nearly in every story about Hunter's laptop [if reported at all] and voter fraud.

Open or not. They knew it was restricted access (or they should've being trained LEOs)

There's no excuse.

Now for those who didn't go in and are being targeted, that's a real issue.

The cops taking selfies inside deserve it because if any other citizen did they'd be charged.

And the ones flashing their badges for entry should be investigated, that's abuse of power and privileges we give them!

So attending the rally — even if you broke no laws — is now a crime? So much for freedom of speech and the freedom to peacefully assemble.

Oh well, we had a good run. It was fun while it lasted.

Democrat Senator Dick Durbin Reintroduces Domestic Terror Bill Focused on ‘Right-Wing’ Extremism....

“Violent white supremacists continue to pose the most significant domestic terrorism threat in our nation. For too long, we’ve turned a blind eye and haven’t seriously addressed this evil in our own backyard,” Durbin said in the release.

“The federal government must tackle this threat head on and ensure more Americans are not subjected to violence simply because of who they are or what they believe.”

Democratic Rep. Bennie Thompson of Mississippi, who chairs the House Committee on Homeland Security, wants the punishments to begin now, according to a news release.

“Given the heinous domestic terrorist attack on the U.S. Capitol yesterday, I am urging the Transportation Security Administration and the Federal Bureau of Investigation to use their authorities to add the names of all identified individuals involved in the attack to the federal No-Fly List and keep them off planes. This should include all individuals identified as having entered the Capitol building — an intrusion which threatened the safety of Members of Congress and staff and served as an attack on our Nation,” he said Thursday.

“We already saw reports of ‘unruly mobs’ in air on the way to Washington, D.C.” Thompson added....

The doxxed cops could move to Tx and get hired. Attending Trump rally would be positive on their resumes.

I disagree with people that attended, but that is no reason for any peaceful protestor to face consequences of that nature. That said, anyone breaching the Capitol or those that were violent deserve to be punished by full extent of the law.

Just attended or ones that went onto the grounds and trespassed?

They're trying to remove your right to protest and rally. If these officers were just there, what did they do wrong?

The question is “does the left want more or less right-leaning terrorism?”

That is a serious question.

We can add freedom of assembly to the list of things democrats hate, along with freedom of speech, freedom of the press (when they aren't msm), and the right to bear arms. Let's not forget the freedom to earn a living.

The list of freedoms loathed by the left is getting long.

I think the last year has provided adequate proof that it depends on who is doing the assembling.

The bolded part is true. Police protect the state against the citizens. The proof is what is happening right before our eyes.

The rest is typical MSM BS and methodology. MSM takes a bit of truth and twists and warps into complete BS to push their agenda, usually social but in this case both social and political.
