I look at it like this. Now, this is strictly an anecdotal what I’m seeing on social media standpoint.
But, when someone makes a post in support of all the progressive charged goings-on in the country right now the “likes” they get on that post aren’t the ones that they need to vote a certain way to get what they want. They may think they have a following but it’s just a place where like-minded people or those wanting to score cool points and street cred are gathering. The ones whose support they would need aren’t commenting, liking, sharing or posting anything at all. I’ll say the same thing to the ones on the far other side spectrum too that are using the current state of affairs as an excuse to obnoxiously do the same thing.

Most conservatives I know,
1) Don’t live in major cities
2) All have jobs and issues to worry about other than bitch college kids causing trouble
3) Seem pretty content with their lives and profession and don’t want to do anything to jeopardize that unless they have to

Partly that. Partly, conservatives are civil, law abiding citizens. I'm not going to burn down my neighbors house, and loot Calandro's because some person dies at the hands of someone else, on the other side of the country. I'm not even going to protest. I have a job, and a family and have better things to do with my time than "march" for whatever perceived injustice that may or may not be happening.
I'm also a decent human being who respects others and isn't controlled by my emotions. That's not tolerated on the the left.

I think the difference is Antifa isn't afraid to hurt the police, but the conservatives respect them and aren't at the point of firing on them.
