There should be an option for New Orleanians. A small private school that’s affordable and has an ACTIVE work study program for financial aid.

Lessons in personal finance, small business economics, etc. instead social justice and gender studies.

Would be successful IYAM

Nah. Someone else should do it. I’m too busy.

Every Catholic high school and most of the private ones like Newman or McGehee have it.

Except for Ben Franklin I can't think of a liberal school in nola.

Of course not. OP is being ridiculous. He’s right about the work study part though.

I think it's not unusual to find some degree of "social justice" and "gender studies" in frickin' grade school.

The "Borg" wants your children's minds as soon as possible.
Resistance is futile.

Always have thought that if you had the money, aka a billionaire, a smart investment would be a small conservative business/technology college. Poach some very quality professors and partner up with some major sought after businesses. Make it a minor league for business professionals.

Newman is as far left as it gets.

Social Justice curriculum is common place in the catholic league and n the Catholic Church for that matter.

Name a conservative school....Country Day?

What are you on about? There are no social justice classes at Newman. The good Nola schools spend 99% of their time teaching math, English, science, etc. Some of you try to see politics in everything

Huh? I was at graduation on Wednesday, and they noted this year was the first year they had a Young Democrats club....very far from the left.

The high school on Carrollton and Banks is one of if not the best in the state and matches all of your criteria.

Eta: this is where we find out who knows New Orleans .
