Legalization! Let's go gamble on sports and burn a couple down, baws!

The cannabist

Will this always be a state level issue? Will we ever see a country wide legalization of marijuana?

and here are the terrible changes that Nevada will now sufffer:

1.

that was it, that was the entire list.

its too early to put much into stats like overall crime or DUIs, though those are down slightly in Colorado and Washington
quote:

Denver saw a 2.2 percent drop in violent crime rates in the year after the first legal recreational cannabis sales in Colorado. Overall property crime dropped by 8.9 percent in the same period there, according to figures from the Drug Policy Alliance. In Washington, violent crime rates dropped by 10 percent from 2011 to 2014. Voters legalized recreational marijuana there in 2012.

but one thing that does seem very clear is that states with legal medicinal marijuana have 25 percent fewer deaths by prescription painkiller overdoses. Medical marijuana legalization also reduced opioid-related hospitalizations, yet had no impact on marijuana-related hospitalizations.

It's almost as if we could cut bloated spending on the war on pot and drain the swamp but what do I know.

Is this legalization for recreational use?

This. Bigly. What's best is weed+4or5 beers though. Makes my golf game super pro.

Going to be fun watching a pothead say "Hit me!" when he's sitting on 18.

about the crime rates? yes, obviously, which is why i said as much.

about the opioid related problems? there is a very clear and obvious connection between the two, and much more data to verify that.
