So you somehow missed the part where he tells Comey, after clearing a room, to "let it go" when it comes to Flynn? How silly are you?

The conversation between Comey and Trump is very subjective. Comey said as he "understood it".

So it was a direct order?

Comey is sneaky little bureaucrat, highly political and playing gotcha games like a jilted high school girl. It was quite obvious he was more than willing to take directives from politicians...as long as he was left whole.

He did what he was told until it offended his political sensibilities. Not his ethics.

We all should have worn hip boots for Comey's testimony...

quote:

“I don’t know whether it was intentional or not but it gave the impression that the attorney general [Lynch] was looking to align the way we talked about our work with the way the political campaign was describing the same activity, which was inaccurate,” Comey added.

Comey complied, in his words, because it “wasn’t a hill worth dying on.”

Wasn't a hill worth dying on? WTF?

They held onto it until Trump fired Comey. Then they used it to get a Special Counsel.

Makes no sense, if you have the goods you proceed. There's no need to get cute and complicate things, after all the directive from the DC Elites/"deep state " is to destroy Trump anyway they can.

We all know there wasn't a direct order from Trump to drop any investigations but these Progs are not quitters and they think they can spin dogshit into fine silk .

He said he felt directed. All of this is going to push the investigation to Trump. Sessions looks bad now too

Must be nice being able to dictate your own evidence without a single bit of proof of accuracy. And, shockingly, it's the only time he's done it thru all of the last couple of years happenings.

But I want to be clear....now you (and dems) feel Comey is honorable and never does anything raising character issues? Now he's totally professional?

Look clown, dude knew he was being shown the door....Trump gave him a shite and asked for loyalty, which any person with a heartbeat knows that means "no more horseshite Clinton coverups" Basically, you work for us now. Comey knew he had done and said things that would keep him from being loyal...knew Trump would catch on, and knew he would be canned....which every person in America knows is deserved.

I understand you're more liberal/den. So be it. But look at today.
Comey set this up....he leaked the info so it's fact he wanted trumps arse after being fired. So you and I agree he did this to basically accuse Trump of obstruction...then he gets a good talking to over the last couple of weeks, finding out that if he said he believed that, then he himself had commuted a couple of felonies. Then all of a sudden, he turns the table on dems again, and says he didnt "feel Trump was obstructing.

And you're happy with him? This isn't some low level guy, this is the top of the top in the FIB. And now he's acting like he's just some guy doing the right things.

I'm pissed McGrath, you should be too. This is not what out country needs right now. We need these morons on the hill working for the betterment of the US.......this is a fricking waste.

So you are saying Trump lied about this then?

The country doesn't need Trump right now. He lied about even the smallest of things, like "Comey called me once and I called him once" and even who set up the dinner. Do you really believe that Comey called Trump to ask to have a private dinner with him?

If he would have resigned then he would have had a lot more moral weight on his side. But he's unaccustomed to moral weight so it's unsurprising.

"Felt" meaning what? Or is "felt" enough in DC these days?

What's to be investigated? We have both sides now. I'm not sure there's anything further to be "investigated." Especially if there's no underlying crime (hint: there's not). That will slow no one down. I urge you to keep up your present pace.

You've been lying from the beginning.

the testimony you posted is misleading and out of context.

saying "that's the way I read it" is not the same as saying "that is what he said". Not even close

I don't know about all that but there's no question you're reaching critical mass on you're current nuclear melt.
