yes, we should have just kept your party in office, and watched them complete the downfall of our once great country. The fact that you supported that low IQ completely unqualified candidate tells us everything we need to know about you....just look at the downvotes......you are a sick person and my guess is that you don't even know it.

fine, but she doesn't need a top position within the Senate, at all.

I said before I think Collins gets shat on too much, she is in a very precarious position, a republican in a blue state.
That’s fine. She represents Maine voters well.
She doesn’t represent most republican voters across the country though so she shouldn’t get any powerful positions in the Senate because her actions in that position will not reflect the wishes of the majority of R voters nationwide.

I have far less of a problem with Susan Collins than Cornyn, Langford, Cassidy, and Thune. Thune is the reason we’re stuck with that wench actually having any consequence. Seriously frick that guy. He’s like a robot Ken doll. I’m assuming down to his genitalia.
There is absolutely no excuse for these states that Trump won decisively to keep putting these swamp monsters in office. I swear to god if Louisiana doesn’t primary Lurch I may have to turn in my drivers license
With Maine our choices are either Collins or the wackiest fricking weirdo Maine Democrat ever imagined. Mazie Hirono with an annoying AF accent.

Clueless dipshit post of teh day. Congrats. Yeah, it would be much better if we'd nominated JEB! or Nikki, so we could have unobstructed RINO shite 24/7 from top to bottom.
Shoot yourself in the balls. Now.
ronricks has balls? Who knew...

Only in the US congress can you be rewarded for what is essentially the longest losing streak ever. Last budget surplus was.... when again, exactly?
Good job Senator Collins. You've done a swell job leading the way, heres a promotion.

They’re blatantly disregarding the voters wishes and putting every RINO in the most powerful positions simply to try and block Trump.
America wanted change and voted against the entrenched DC politicians and they’re just throwing shite in our face and laughing at us.
Well said. That's exactly what they're doing. They're setting it up so that they can stonewall Trump at every turn. They don't give a shite about what the American people want.

Thanks Wednesday, you said it far more eloquently than I.
And Im not pro Collins, I just understand her position. And to your point, not the other arses.
Tuberville put it best in an interview discussing Trump nominations. He said I am for them, but that doesnt matter, my state voted 70% MAGA, and if Trump wants these people then thats what the people of Alabama want, and thats why they put me here, not my wishes THEIR wishes. Unfortunately there are a lot of my colleagues who dont view it that way, they seem to have forgotten who they represent.

This is what’s so disappointing with Republicans….i mean, the people have spoken yet two (Mitch & Collins) who are on record already going against a Trump appointment (Gaetz) showing their motives to thwart his agenda are now placed into very influential committee chairs…Republicans just shoot themselves in the foot. Very disappointing. I’m not as confident as I was immediately following the election that we will have the desired change that the American people voted for. Sad but what can we do? I guess wait and see…maybe we’ll be surprised. Question…once a chair has been selected, is there a process to remove and select someone else? If so, how does that work? I honestly have no idea.

No way this survives beyond Jan 20th.

Could it be a Seniority thing…
Some of these RINO Senators are so old they could be aged using Carbon 14 dating.

It’s always the Senate. To hell with the Senate. Not a single one of these assholes would be there if our state legislators still appointed them.

This is disasterous.
The senate is proving itself to be the same pain in the arse it was in the first Trump admin.
Also, here's another fine chance to remind you all that 20 GOP Senators voted to confirm Merrick Garland, but just couldn't bear to confirm fellow Republican Matt Gaetz.
