CNN’s Pamela Brown rips into NIH Francis Collins

Wow, Good for CNN for once. It got so bad that Francis Collins (in sexist like manner because why the hell not) told Pamela to “Please, Relax here!” I want to make this accusation under no vague stipulations here: If what you, Fauci, and Daszak are accused of is true and you’re convicted by a jury of your peers, you should be brutally publicly executed and immediately after the trial. Granted I think Fauci and Daszak are probably worth more alive than dead, but I don’t think that about Francis Collins.
I think they’re planning on tossing Daszak under the bus like they did Epstein, and while Daszak is the most directly involved in this and is probably the most knowledgeable of the three, we can’t let the others off on this. Granted I think Collins is now a mere figurehead, he can’t be allowed to get away with it.

CNN’s Pamela Brown confronted National Institutes of Health Director Francis Collins on whether the agency experienced an “oversight failure” in light of the admission that their funding inadvertently facilitated gain-of-function research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology.
The NIH and Dr. Anthony Fauci have faced a great many questions following the release of an NIH letter saying the research of EcoHealth Alliance, a U.S.-based health organization, had the “unexpected result” of crossing into gain-of-function. The letter also says EcoHealth failed to disclose these findings in compliance with the terms and conditions of their NIH research grant.
Brown, in an interview on her program Sunday night, asked Collins what the revelations say about Fauci’s claim months ago that “the NIH has not ever and does not now fund gain-of-function research in the Wuhan Institute.”
“You’re just now finding out U.S. tax dollars were being used to pay for this risky research in that Wuhan lab two years ago,” she said. “So the question is how can you know what this money is going toward? What kind of research this is going toward in places like the Wuhan lab if you’re just now finding this out from EcoHealth Alliance how the U.S.’ taxpayer dollars were being used?”
Collins led by agreeing “EcoHealth did violate the terms of their grant award.” He insisted, however, that their gain-of-function research was not the kind that requires “special high level oversight,” and it was “in no way connected” to the emergence of the Covid-19 virus.
“Yeah, they messed up,” he said. “We’re going to hold them accountable. They sent us a progress report two years late that they should have sent a while ago, and it had information in it that they should have told us about.”
Brown kept up the pressure by noting the fact remains the NIH was unaware that their funding was being used for “risky research.” Collins acknowledged those concerns, but said, “I don’t think there is indication that there is a broad range of this kind of difficulty going on.”
“But isn’t this also an oversight failure of the NIH?” Brown followed up. “Because, the NIH is responsible for taking taxpayer money and giving these grants. So would you say this is also an oversight failure?”
Collins responded by claiming the NIH is asking Congress to amend the system that allowed the Wuhan Institute to become the subrecipient of EcoHealth’s grant. This led to Brown asking “Why should Americans trust you and the NIH on the issue of Covid origins when you didn’t even know about the programs it was funding with taxpayer dollars in China?”

I seriously doubt there was anything “inadvertent” about it.

To be fair to her, that’s to save her from a lawsuit. Probably should have said “allegedly” instead.

I think that's going to be the whole ball of wax, whether it was "inadvertent" or "intentional". Looks to me like she took a side.

Her mother is Phyllis George Brown, a former Miss America.

Hypothetically speaking and in my much younger days, when or if I bought an illegal substance, I knew that money wasn't going to charity or some noble cause. Not that I actually gave money for those things, yet if I did, I would know by default that any money given to a shady character or organization would not necessarily be used to improve humanity.
That goes for any tax dollars going to Chyna for, ahem, research into how pandemics can affect the global economy and population control.

I guess we owe it all to Pamela Brown

Why do you think Fauci is worth more alive than dead? Only way that is if he spills the beans on the whole system. Otherwise we shouldn’t waste a bullet on the lying frick. I say off with his head with a dull knife!

That’s the plan. Fauci has no principles and I think he knows shite, so I think you can succeed in violently threatening him.

Problem for Fauci is that I'd venture to say he more than just knows stuff, he's probably the most culpable single person there is in this particular matter. Thus he's fully motivated to do or say whatever he must to save his own skin. Furthermore, Fauci's bad acts will implicate elements of the U.S. government, thus the government has incentive to protect him.

I mean isn’t that the assist from CNN? Sound tough but let it be known that it was inadvertent, oh and the grants were not under extreme oversight and we are asking Congress to tighten the the oversight conditions so we are not to be held responsible. We just followed the weak guidelines in place. And oops look at this report from China that recently arrived and should have been sent sooner? But why should it have been sent sooner if the guidelines don’t currently require it?
Frick CNN and the NIH mafia.

Precisely. Faux outrage, as they say.

Yup. They'll review their policies and procedures and everything will be okay, it'll never happen again.
Just like in the NSBA letter apologizing for asking Garland to use the Patriot Act against parents. That happened because of faulty policies and procedures ya know.
That's the way of the Left when they're caught in crimes or malfeasance. A lame apology and fall on the Sword of Incompetence. And then continue as they were.

Kudos to you for being onto this whole thing. I like your energy. The WaPo Editorial Board called for Daszak to testify before Congress tonight. It’s all starting to unravel. Get ready for it.
