I bet it's Manafort

Same here. You don't break into someone's home in the dead of night in full riot gear if you don't have something big on them already.

What's interesting is that no one is talking about how the payoff to Manafort happened back in 2013 when he was working as a lobbyist for a lobbying firm that was representing that country. The name of the lobbying firm?

wait for it...

waaaaaaait for it.....

Dude, you’re way beyond the times here. This board has been salivating at versions of that email for days now. Any fact and nuance to the contrary is resoundingly shouted down. Don’t waste your time.

that's a strange one because Fox News just reported that a conservative thinktank paid for the dossier originally.
That's not what was reported. What was reported was the free beacon used the same company that later on put together the dossier.

Point was you could have made up alot of things about law and I would buy it not my thing. Was interesting to learn though

Depends on the charge and how it is aligned with the spirit of the law. If it is politically motivated legal formalism I would probably favor a pardon if it was legitimate corruption with profit or intent I’d probably not.

That is not true. The dossier wasn't created till after the dems paid. Prior free beacon used gps fusion to dig into trump. Dossier was post them. They put out a note on this. Stating they did research on all the candidates with gps fusion and other firms

If that’s it, it’ll be leverage and the real interesting question is if Trump pardons him for some unrelated to campaign with the wink wink that he shuts the frick up about the campaign.

That’s political suicide. He should cut Manafort loose if it is stuff unrelated to campaign

The Brown story references "charges" but not how many people are indicted. Are you talking about CNN anchors/TV coverage?

He’ll never alienate the base, but it will enrage the GOPe and the Dems. It will also serve as nice mid-term fodder.

It won’t lead to impeachment because the House is so far right, but it could lead to the Dems taking the Senate and essentially ensuring gridlock through the rest of his term
