Per Newsom it’s all Trump’s fault

Won't quit until the rest of the job is completed.

It only took him how many years to realize this? You think he would have noticed when California lost House seats for the first time in history when it lost not one but TWO seats in 2020 due to the rapidly declining population.

The people of that state let it happen. The system isn’t failing, the system is doing exactly what the liberal politicians designed it to do- keep them in control forever.

And a great deal of people actually believe Newsome would make a great president!

He would probably get somewhere in the vicinity of, let's say, 81 million votes,

Brutal. And 100% correct.
California's problem isn't its elected officials, it's California voters, so it's going to be hard to fix because most of them are staying. I think that it's only begun to collapse and that it's going to get much worse very fast because the last remaining private industry propping us up - computer tech - is starting to leave and/or shed jobs to AI.
Edit to add that despite all of this, California's nice areas - and there are many - are very nice and definitely worth it if you can afford it. Wherever you are while reading this, California is probably nicer in almost every way than where you are.

It’s ridiculous and insane that the rest of America will ultimately have to step in and bail out a state with the natural resources and advantages of California in order to save it from itself.

To a point, yes. Especially in SF, L.A. and Sacramento... the Democrat voter fraud in the state is also at an incredible level. They don't have legitimate elections there and haven't for many years now.

As someone who lived in SoCal for 11 years, and one of the rare conservatives who would move back (to Coastal OC or SD) tomorrow if I could, I can confirm. I'm paying about the same money to live in Wisconsin now that I did out there, a mile from the beach in Newport Beach/Costa Mesa... where the weather was perfect, there was no crime, no homeless, no cultcha, postcard scenery, the ocean, mountains, forests, desert, great food scene etc etc etc. Aside from L.A., SF and Sacto politics, it's paradise.

The stage was set for this to happen by 1990. Newcum only happened to be the face of what was already happening. Dumb AF voters. Ahnold was actually to the left of JBE.
Also, Hollyweird STFU when Ahnold ran because he did have enough power to have actors blackballed at the time, as a behind the scenes mover and shakers
