quote:

“Well, I would say that most people, such as Jim, and me, and others without experience are very reluctant to be in produced pieces and interviews,” Mack explained. “So when I saw how edited the interview was, and the — in many ways I’m wondering whether he was making the right decision to be interviewed, outside of the legal process, which he is part of right now.”

quote:

Mack also criticized Comey for his personal attacks on President Donald Trump, arguing that “going at all personal” is beneath the platform of a former FBI director and that Comey may regret “lowering his own credibility.”

Wrong, Mr Mack!

Comey has immunity!

I think he was coming from a perception angle, as it makes Comey look bad. Just beneath a FBI Director looking like a weak, feckless leader.

In other words, justified his own firing. America is now relieved that pussy isn't running the fbi

He looks weak alright. How was this beta male ever allowed to run the FBI? He sounds like a schoolgirl who is lashing out at an ex boyfriend on Facebook.

I can’t wait for the Tapper interview. Say what you will about him, but Tapper tends to ask tough questions.

Everything leads back to the feet of Barack Hussein Obama.

It really is amazing how freely Comey admitted that his wife and daughters were part of the most liberal 5% of the country who marched the day after Trumps inauguration.

Anyone who thinks a person can totally divest himself of personal political leanings such as these and be completely unbiased and impartial are dreaming.

Comey regrets that his Trump hating wife has his testicles in her purse. It is actually an upgrade for him since Loretta Elizabeth Lynch turned them back over to the family.

James Comey is the salt of the earth, IMHO. It's a shame that men of integrity are no longer appreciated in America, and are branded as "weak", and ne'er-do-wells like Resident Trump get the highest accolades.

He may, he may not, but America regrets sitting through it.

Ahh yes, nothing says man of integrity quite like hiding behind drapes, quoting himself on twitter, and commenting on hand size to appease Derangement Syndrome patients

I thought you said “James Comey is the shite of the earth” that gave the election to Trump.

You may want to give a time line for your “evolving” O be it H or not.

It absolutely made him look like an angry former employee with an axe to grind. Comey doesn't like Trump? Fine, I can deal with that. What I can't handle is the smarmy self-righteous attitude Comey has taken on. You can't do what he's doing and still claim the moral high ground.

Here's John Dean's take in interview's on NPR yesterday:
quote:

CHANG: So why wait? When you were in Comey's position in 1973, why did you decide to wait until it was all over before telling your story?

DEAN: It wasn't that it wasn't tempting because I had offers dangled in front of me.

CHANG: I'm sure.

DEAN: That - as soon as I broke rank with the White House and left, there were offers. But I had long conversations with my criminal defense lawyer. And he said John - he said they're going to - inevitably, if you do a book, they're going to cross-examine you on everything in the book. They will - you'll, you know, book tour, make statements that may be slightly inconsistent, which they will make it seem greatly inconsistent. So he said, I'm just telling you you'd be smart not to do it. I thought that was good advice, and so I followed it. I didn't do a book. I didn't do interviews. I didn't do anything. In fact, I didn't even talk to the defense lawyers on the other side at my lawyer's advice.

CHANG: So if you were Comey's lawyer, would you be worried right now? I mean, what are the potential pitfalls you see for Comey - that he'll just misremember things, and he won't be exactly consistent each and every case, each and every interview?

DEAN: Exactly. The sooner he gets well-scripted, which is very difficult to do because - for example, he gave a five-hour conversation with George Stephanopoulos...

CHANG: Right.

DEAN: ...Before he did his interview. And I'm sure he doesn't remember exactly the way he phrased everything in that five-hour period. And that will be all used against him. So he's in for a rough ride. He's made the bed. He's going to have to lie in it. He's an experienced prosecutor, so he knows the problem. And I suspect he'll be appropriately cautious on the road.

The 5 min audio (in link) was interesting.

etc: John Dean, not Howard Dean. Thanks teke184
