Am I allowed to go over to Germany and vote in their general election?

In the general? No, but non-citizens who are EU residents and have lived in Germany for over three months can vote in local German elections and German elections for EU Reps.

I spend a lot of time in Germany. Every citizen is automatically registered to vote and they have national ID cards that are required for anyone over 16. They store biometric data and are used for pretty much everything, you even have to present it when checking into a hotel room.

Republicans, and Libertarians, have fought against automatic voter registration and national ID cards for years. Not sure if that will ever change.

The EAC created the form. This judge is enjoining the same committee that created the form from changing the form.

Thanks, and I appreciate the effort you put into it.

Neither. Republicans been against National ID cards for decades. So have libertarians and many liberals. It is one of the few things the ACLU and Heritage Foundation agree on.

It is really a fascinating psychological study.

For literal decades, Republicans oppose a national ID card.

Then Trump hints that he wants a national ID card.

Suddenly, Republicans are expected to reverse course and support a national ID card.

When you discover that someone is using the system to cheat you do what it takes to eliminate the cheating. It is pretty simple.

it’s really strange that some of you actively want non-citizens to vote.

It’s not. These people want you eliminated by any means necessary. First they take your earnings and force you to support their laziness. Now they are taking your vote by allowing this.

You just actively campaign against any effort to keep non-citizens from voting.

I’m sure it’s for the children and the Constitution.

You are mistaken.

I simply oppose the government (here, the Executive Branch) engaging in illegal activity in order to prevent another illegal activity.

yeah yeah, I’m sure you were watching the Biden and OBama administrations like a hawk for such things, right?

What is illegal about the EAC modifying their form?

It's really strange how some of you actively, and dishonestly, misrepresent my position.
