Cleveland emergency resolution

Harsh also speculated on potential pushback to the renaming before replying to that hypothetical pushback with “Who cares?”
“Listen to me very carefully and jot this down: Words don’t matter,” he added, later mocking Trump’s style of ending Truth Social posts by saying at the end of his own speech: “Thank you for your attention to this matter.”

Lake Erie is named after Erie, PA. A part of America not Canada.
No one will refer to it locally as anything but Lake Erie: accept in the minds of these TDS Cleveland democrats.
They lose because Trumps overall point was America acknowledged---- no one cares about lowlife Cleveland democrats but other democrats...
Way to piss off PA, the Cleveland browns stadium will always be a factory of sadness...

Wouldn't this affirm the right of elected localities to rename bodies of water?
If so, wouldn't a federal renaming of a body of water be permitted and take precedent over a local entity?
