Clear link between AZ vaccine and rare blood clots in brain

ROME (Reuters) - There is a link between AstraZeneca’s COVID-19 vaccine and very rare blood clots in the brain but the possible causes are still unknown, a senior official for the European Medicines Agency (EMA) said in an interview published on Tuesday.
“In my opinion we can now say it, it is clear that there is an association with the vaccine. However, we still do not know what causes this reaction,” Marco Cavaleri, chair of the vaccine evaluation team at the EMA, told Italian daily Il Messaggero when asked about the possible relation between the AstraZeneca shot and cases of brain blood clots.
Cavaleri added that the EMA would say there is a link although the regulator would not likely be in a position this week to give an indication regarding the age of individuals to whom the AstraZeneca shot should be given.
He did not provide evidence to support his comments.
AstraZeneca was not immediately available for comment. It has said previously its studies have found no higher risk of clots because of the vaccine.
A high proportion among the reported cases affected young and middle-aged women but that did not lead EMA to conclude this cohort was particularly at risk from AstraZeneca’s shot.

A full year into vaccine development and AZ still doesn't have their shite together. That's why they still aren't approved for use in the US.

Anyone know how many cases have occurred of this??
I didn't see it in the article.

And that's why I'm waiting - indefinitely - to take the "vaccine".
They still haven't even proven it's a "vaccine" yet. If it's an annual shot like the flu shot - which some people are saying it might be - then prudence demands that I forego the shots for now.
I'll wait, thank you. For all I know, I've already been exposed and developed antibodies on my own.

nice fear porn propaganda. ya know what else is clearly associated with rare deaths? length of words in spelling bees is associated with spider fatalities

Let's all run out and get an untested novel first ever in humans experimental DNA therapy for a virus with a 99.97% survival rate

Association does not mean causation.
However, I would not get the AZ vaccine.
I would get Pfizer, Moderna or j and j.
In fact I got the Pfizer.

"The possible causes are still unknown" is basically saying there's a correlation and we're looking into it.

The flu shot is a vaccine.

its hilarious when people who don't even understand that the flu shot is a vaccine try to discuss anything vaccine related

lmao he didnt say correlation, he said association. if were speaking scientifically, association is just a comparison between variables, it doesnt even mean correlation much less causation.
even if there were a correlation with the vaccines and those clots, there's a much stronger correlation between length of spelling bee words and spider bite fatalities too.

FDA told them they will need to do a full phase 3 trial in the US if they want approval here. They just recently finished that trial. From what I've read, there were no blood clotting issues in the American trial.
But whatever. I see no use for the AZ vaccine here. Pfizer or Moderna are what everyone should be taking. Or if you're lazy and only want 1 shot, get J&J. The J&J vaccine uses the same technology as AZ anyway.

I happen to know of two sudden deaths recently. both had clean bills of health and passed heart stress tests... both would have gotten a vaccination because of their medical professions...

I'm sorry, I had no idea you were retarded.
We should definitely bury the connection between an experimental medicine and blood clots because... Well, I can't think of a good reason. I guess because fear porn?

Not really. It's a booster. If you have to take it annually, it's not a vaccine.

if he had any evidence of a connection, he did not share it. so yea that is fear porn lmao. currently the spelling bee letter length and spiders is as meaningful as the propaganda you are gulping down without question
