The left has what I like to call, protest envy. They're so envious of the times when legitimate wrongs existed in this country that they're desperately thirsty for controversy.

i legit think Clay Travis reads this board and steals my commentary from 4 years ago

I have no clue who this person is, nor do I care what he has to say.

The point about protest envy is 100% dead on

Going to protest is the liberal atheist version of going on a teenage mission trip to Amsterdam. Everyone knows you're going just to be able to say how virtuous you are, nothing of note is really accomplished.

But care enough to post a meaningless statement in a thread about something you claim to not care about.
Do you have post envy?

Leftists want the return of the 60s more than anything.

They just want to be able tell everyone how morally superior they are.
There are some legit weirdos out there, but they only get their courage to spout off nonsense because so many today are concerned with how caring they are. As you put it, their moral superiority makes them feel good inside. They really try to one up each other with their compassion and understanding.

quote:This is a good way to summarize what actually happened Saturday.
To wit, we've got millions of people who spent their Saturday marching not to combat any actual rights issues, but just to let you know that if there are rights issues that arise in the future they're going to be there to ensure that their rights remain there.
