Nola article with his video

Been advocating for a while that he’d be a great fit for Governor. Been a fan of him since he went viral. Positioning himself for a run for Governor in 2023.

Clay occasionally says some really boneheaded stuff, but he has an excellent voting record in Congress. If he keeps it up, he could be one to watch the next 4-8 years.

Thank goodness he's not governor now.

Even Trump and Dr. Cassidy say he's dead wrong on this.

Clay Higgins is a very low IQ individual and I say this as a GOP'er

He votes the way I want him to vote over 90% of the time. I care more about actions than optics.

Trump says a lot of dumb embarrassing crap, too, but more often than not he fights for the policy goals I believe in.

He is literally the Louisiana version of Minnisotta electing Al Franken. No experience. No sense. An extreme wing of a party. Narcissistic and loves to run his mouth, thinking that what he says is important and affects people.

Is he? How are these drastic measures possibly supported in the data we have? 40% of those exposed get it, less than two percent of those who get it die and all of those are people who are over 60 and/or have serious additional health problems. 75% of people who get it never show any symptoms. Less than 10% of cases are even serious enough to warrant seeing a doctor. We are putting millions of people put of work for months at a time to stop the spread of a disease which, on paper, isn’t extraordinarily dangerous, not to mention that the people most at risk are people who already aren’t working (retired folks in nursing homes)!

Clay is right that these measures enacted by the governor and other governments around the nation are massive intrusions on individual liberty that in no way are proportional to the threats involved.

I mean, even the dumbest shill in Congress can learn that if they have a D behind their name, vote no, if they have an R, vote yes. it takes a dishonest fraud to do otherwise.

I hope you aren't using that as a barometer.

In Louisiana, your choices are usually a moron with a good voting record, a race pimping communist moron with a bad voting record, or an old as dirt and corrupt as heck ex-democrat turned republican who can form coherent sentences but stabs your principles in the back every time it actually matters.
