Sometimes it worked out & sometimes it didn’t, but we ultimately put our interests ahead of ‘democracy’,

The goal was always to advance America’s interests. That could be argued as America first. So in a way we’ve been attempting America first for some time now, even though it initially doesn’t seem like it.

Your definition of benefit America and mine must be different. Your flyover American baw isn't affected at all when it comes to who rules Vietnam or Guatemala or Grenada or Iraq.

Fight the fights you can win, and when needed, fight the fights that need fighting.

The rub is deciphering the two.

FIFY...

and this is just a wing of "Globalism." Globalism is great for American... uh, excuse me, "Multinational" Corporatons. Not so good for the working class of America. Luckily for "them," the working class of America falls for bullshite pitches and Culture War distractions over and over and over... and doesn't think twice about questioning whether a Billionaire even has one single inkling what their daily life is like, or cares.

People who claim to oppose globalism have a blind spot when it comes to Iran. The Iran hawks are the same people who've opposed Trump from day one. The Iran hawks also ignore that our own meddling in 1953 and the removal of Mossadegh is directly responsible for the government Iran has had since 1979.

Isn't that the question????? Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't.
My opinion is that the better congressional representation we vote into Congress, the better chance we have for these types of actions to actually help America. IMHO
