Churchill’s quote is exemplified by what has happened with John Cleese.
“If you’re not a liberal at 25, you have no heart. If you’re not a conservative by 35, you have no brain.”

Of course Churchill was right.
This is necessary because of years of open borders policy. Britain is a changed country because of it and that's not a good thing. If Trump wasn't doing it, we would eventually have the same problems.

Churchill would not recognize Britain at all these days.
He was not the most conservative politician even in his days either.

He was a drunken idiot who was conned into fighting with communists against what should've been our Christian brothers. The state of the world today now reflects that

I think it's hard to place people completely in one camp or the other. Certainly some are, but for example, some very conservative people on the coast, shrimpers and fishermen, will tell you we have very real and urgent environmental issues affecting their livelihoods. They're not so keen on the petrochemical industry these days, but they are still very conservative on social issues.
I know a lot of liberals that are beginning to see the light on crime and are taking more conservative positions with respect to crime.
But this is common sense. Neither side is right 100% of the time. Each issue needs to be examined on its own merits and with careful research. People gain wisdom as they age, and I do believe they become more conservative. We end up with more of a Hobbesian view of the world.
I'm liberal on environmental issues, but quite conservative on social issues. I'm conservative in foreign affairs, especially the in the Middle East. I have empathy for people that are suffering in the South, but I have zero tolerance for crime and thuggery. I'm fed up with my home town being destroyed. I'm Christian, and I'm always more than willing to take on my liberal friends that laugh at my my commitment to faith. My favorite retort involves a difficult time in my life. The Christian community was there for me. My atheist and agnostic friends disappeared. Yet somehow, the liberals want to always claim the moral high ground. They're full of shite on that point.

Latest chapter in my current book. I knew that there was a theater in England that just put on works of Shakespeare. It's been popular with locals and tourists for a long time. But now they are committed to promoting diversity. So Shakespeare's classic productions are now full of non whites, strong females and gays. Audiences are decreasing but the press reviews are great.

Great way to start your journey here on TigerDroppings. I can see you’ll be quite truculent and recalcitrant in the future. Welcome aboard.

The truth is the truth. Patton said we fought the wrong enemy. Soon after he turned up dead

Aside from Abe Lincoln I can't think of a more evil guy who's been turned into a phony hero by revisionist history and media more than Winston Churchill

So you're a Nazi sympathizer?
Good for you, I suppose.

You don’t know much about Churchill if you think this. He was a very sensitive and kind man. However, he did not coin the statement attributed to him in the OP.

Could have put a stop to their socialist, nanny state when was re-elected in '51 but chose the status quo.
