Ok, clarify it then. This is your quote:

But humans tend to prefer rationality, hence religious decline as the human population is more educated.
Are you telling me you're NOT saying that religion and rationality/education are somewhat incompatible?

Forgive me if I don't hold your opinion on the scriptures as the truth.

(The Church of England) used to execute Catholic Priests, thank God they halted that as well.

They're generally inversely related.
What does that have to do with your nihilism rant?

"arsenokoitai"
I think I will be waiting for a very, very long time.

No, it's the Christian answer to a silly question.
I don't mind Trump on policy, but pretending he's helping tamp down on sexual deviancy here in America is laughable.

Snakes. Hard to believe in religion when god doesn’t smite these evil bastards for encouraging this and diddling little kids.
Color me shocked that hardcore trump supporters don’t believe in God.
Read scripture. They will surely be punished and God HATES them. They can repent and be saved through His love but he has holy hate for the sinner and the sin.

Atheist here; I prefer Ron over Trump...

Hank is all hung up on this one, I guess. I’m no scholar of any kind, but I’ll try to answer you Hank if you answer this: How do you classify premarital sex, when the participants don’t end up marrying?

It's a recognition that if you're an atheist and NOT a nihilist, as most aren't, you're no more rational than the theist. They're not a inversely related as you like to claim.

But that's what porneia means. Surely you understand context, and to understand what it means you have to understand what was considered sexually immoral in that culture. It doesn't specifically prohibit screwing chickens either, but that would have been covered under "porneia".
Someone 3000 years from now might look at a Dick Vitale transcript and wonder why he kept talking about rocks. Unless they understand what "rock" meant in his context they'll never understand what he was talking about. The more petulant among them might insist that his culture is irrelevant and "rock" means a solid chunk of mineral and they might cling to that, but they'll be interpreting his statements incorrectly.

Again, how rational one is, isn't decided solely by this one stance.
If you believe the entire world was flooded and only two of every species and 8 people survived that's a mark against you.
If you believe the Hebrews were Egyptian slaves and 10 plagues freed them that's a mark against you.
Everyone has irrational beliefs. But some people have more than others. And some irrational beliefs require more irrationality than others.

I don't recall quantifying how inversely related they are.
Just take the L Flats.

Why so glib, when you ask the same question several times, as if you want an answer?
Maybe you need to go back and read what is written about Sodom and Gomorrah for information about what the people considered “fun”.

I agree with Flats on this one.
It's pretty clear that the Bible contextually has a prohibition on premarital sex.
"Show me where the Bible specifically says that you can't screw a tree, I'll wait."

The Protestant Revolution's stain on society continues to grow darker.

Is that where Lot offered up his two virgin daughters to have premarital sex with the mob of people outside?

I hope that is sarcasm. If not, some Catholic self awareness is in order.

Yep. Didn’t work out so well for them…

Infallible doctrine =/= infallible people. The Church of England isn’t even Christian anymore.
