You Pu**y. No one attacked you. I told you you don't have the experience nor the knowledge to form an intelligent opinion which is a fact. What follow up questions did you ask? The only one throwing a fit is you because I called you out and your feelings got hurt. You cannot have a discussion with someone that has zero knowledge but wants to argue. You said drag queens were just for entertainment and I said you're wrong. Now prove me wrong with knowledge and facts not your liberal emotions.

Again you are embarrassing yourself.

You call that "racist."

You call that "homophobic."

You are either lying in an attempt to deflect or stupid...or both.

I call your condescending, dismissive lecturing of Black people and Gay people on this subject racist and homophobic.

You have de-evolved into nothing more than a White, Liberal Karen telling people how to think.

Why don't you visit the local barrio, knock on some doors and start teaching people how to be authentically Latino?

You'd be wrong. Here's why:

The "black experience" (a term which you've yet to adequately define) is in no way universal. Lived in a black neighborhood? Bully for you, I guess. Doesn't mean you know beans about the general "experience" of black people. Just know the way of life for the people (black or not) in said neighborhood. That's it. You don't get to extrapolate--that's intellectually dishonest, and you know this.

People are lazy and it is just so much easier to presume the black experience is going to be a certain thing. It works for doing stand up, but not really in a political discussion.

And I love how Hank thinks he is an expert on being gay because he hung out down on Peter Springs for a few years.

It's like saying I have a brother who is gay, so I know what I am talking about.

Hank I don't like you and you don't like me, but believe me when I give you this advice:

Stop posting, apologize and log off for the day.

I'm not being funny, I'm being dead serious.

Again, you dropped into this thread to attack me regarding a post examining the distinction between three separate groups;: heterosexual cross-dressers, gay drag queens, and transgenders

Really? Your very first post:
quote:

Enough lying aggiehank
Where I come from, calling someone a "liar" is a personal attack. For instance, I readily admit that I just counter-attacked Ooga, after I spend 15 pages ignoring his personal attacks upon me.
quote:

What follow up questions did you ask?
Again, look to the first paragraph for context. You responded to a post contrasting heterosexual cross-dressers, gay drag queens and transgenders. The questions you IGNORED were as follows:
quote:

In your view, is drag a “sexual fetish,” like cross-dressing for some straight men? The data say “no,“ but I am interested in your opinion.

In your view, do drag queens think they ARE women, like MTF transgenders? The data say “no,“ but I am interested in your opinion

the post to which you responded did not address that issue. It addressed the observation from a previous poster that people tend to conflate three distinct pathologies: cross dressers, drag performers and transgenders. Again, I am interested in your opinions. Is drug use in any way related (in your mind) to the tendency to conflate those three distinct groups?
Instead of addressing those questions, you went off an a tangent about whether I understand gays as well as you. (pssst, no I do not).

Where I come from, getting upset about being called a liar on Social Media is considered weak and insane.

It's the Internet and you need to log off a while for your mental health, you are losing it.

Fair enough.

I thought I alluded to the same concept when I compared your experience as a military brat who attended Consolidated and then TAMU to a poor Black kid in North Zulch who never graduated high school. I said that each (different) experience was a data point, and I THOUGHT I was clear that each was genuine to the person experiencing it, but not necessarily representative of the whole. Apparently, I was not as precise as I try to be. My bad.

Would you be more likely to agree if I said "understand ONE ELEMENT of the Black experience better than a White has has never had that interaction"?

Using a fact is not a personal attack.

Fact I responded to you saying drag queens do it just for entertainment and that was all I addressed. Go back and read then you may apologize.

Drag queens, when fully dressed believe they are a woman personality. Saying otherwise will piss them off.

Thank you for admitting I have more knowledge so when I give you a fact don't dispute it. Is that clear...

You have me confused with someone else. I never attended Consol. Military brat, yes, but I was homeschooled until I attended Texas A&M.

You messed yourself up when you tried to posture yourself as having a better understanding of "the gay scene" by virtue of having lived in Oak Lawn for a spell. That's when I sprung my trap RE: blacks and ghettos, and your logic betrayed you. Ret-conning it as your being "imprecise" doesn't wash, given how the convo unfurled.

Would you be more likely to agree if I said "understand ONE ELEMENT of the Black experience better than a White has has never had that interaction"?

No, I would not. Ghetto residency isn't an element of the black experience. Also, I really would be interested in what you think the "black experience" even is. The fact you've revealed ghetto residence/proximity is emblematic (later goalposts moved to "elemental") of blackness is...curious. Please expound.

I guess I just inferred "Consolidated," since you said that your family moved to CS.
I don't recall you ever mentioning home school. My bad.

The home school element is interesting, since it was still pretty rare in Texas back then. I will remember.

I'm actually kinda offended irl. I work very hard to not ever be confused with some public school schmuck. And my guy just up and makes me a Consol alum out of the blue, all la di da.

Hardest part about being in a mixed marriage, man. Aggiebelle and I make it work, but her being public schooled is a cultural background that's difficult to contend with at times. I still love her though, so I don't hold it against her

For those claiming these Public Libraries have no agenda:

Kirk Cameron is denied story-hour slot by public libraries for his new faith-based kids book

Nope, nothing to see here...
