It depends on where you live. The Bay will largely rejoice. Much of SoCal will be happy too. Those are the biggest metro areas and they dictate things on the state level.

For us around here we just had our voices silenced with prop 50. There is a neighborhood in the neighboring city of Clovis that is divided into three districts now. We’re pissed but outnumbered. That’s just what it is.

I think Nancy got in her ear and said,

Why doesn’t she just run for her moms house seat, Senate is kind of a tall order, don’t you think?

They’ve been cheerleading what has happened out here. I honestly don’t think they see a problem with what they’ve done. It’s “progress” to them. Crazy environmental regulations to save the forests that destroy communities is okay. We have oil off of our coast that seeps from the ocean floor (Santa Barbara). So we make no effort to drill. There’s massive amounts of water out here… we waste it and to hell with adding reservoirs. Super high taxes that drive off businesses and jobs… that’s okay if we can get a $20 minimum wage that lowers employment and hours worked for the employed. Too many criminals locked up? Well that’s racist so we’re gonna release them and make felonies into misdemeanors that aren’t charged so that crime can run rampant. Students are failing… lower standards so that they aren’t and pass them along.

I love this state. But I hate the people in charge and the fools that have voted the dems into power and a sometimes supermajority.

The epitome of that white privilege that Democrats supposedly hate so much.

Nancy does descend from mafia stock so it’s not surprising.
