Not only are we to accept gay people (which I do, it’s their life), but we are to celebrate it. That’s where I take issue. I have no desire to celebrate that lifestyle, it’s not what I personally believe in.

this is way old. 2 years ago this happened. she was shunned. the guilt trip didn't work. she just walked. wish she'd have stayed and the rapinoes on the team would have bolted in protest.
we have no place having a gay pride jersey in a game. they wanna make one to have all the queers feel all warm and fuzzy to wear while in the stands, go for it.

Because the article is 2 years old it doesn't mention that she did get a call up in 2018 for USWMNT camp but didn't make the final roster.

no matter which way you fall on this item, or if you're completely impartial... what would it have done for her to repeat her actions from 2017? why would they bother to invite someone that is going to refuse to join?

Camps last longer than a day but it's not like she was a regular starter before this happened. If she was a starter she would have been on the team.
But hats off to her for sticking to an opinion no matter how unpopular it is but still showing back up when invited again.

While I share your sentiment regarding religion, there are many reasons why she is still a much better human being overall than you and your ProgFilth Ilk.
