We need an energy glossary for all of these board experts to consult before they show everyone that they have no idea what they are talking about

As others have pointed out oil (refineries) and LNG (natural gas liquefaction) are completely different supply chains. There used to be relatively little LNG facilities in the US, just enough to meet some domestic needs.
When the shale boom kicked off Cheniere repurposed some plants they were building to start importing LNG and instead exported it. They had to get the law changed to do so, because the US forbid it. Others followed suit, like Dominion and Venture Global.
These plants are much less involved than refineries, and they can be built or expanded rapidly.

Why is this good?
I do not understand why people cheer when other countries buy/invest in our resources.
In many cases, it's American assets being sold off. Land, mineral rights, corporations etc. It's not a good thing when this happens.
It means other countries are the ones you will be working for and serving, and/or your children and grandchildren.
Is that really what you want?
This doesn't seem to be quite as bad as others thankfully. But I seriously do not understand the cheering.

Stout has joined the fan club at some point. Like many others before him his little tantrum started after he jumped in at me for no reason at all off the sidelines and called me a crazy retard in a thread I hadn't even posted in and for no apparent reason at all. I happened to take note of it and started pointing out his idiocy in kind.
Now he is perma-triggered and is so flustered by me personally that he can't even read two frickin sentences and posts in multiple threads trying to "own" the crazy retard known as BoarEd. His BEDS (BoarEd Derangement Syndrome) is what is fueling his descent into full-on TDS (Trump Derangement Syndrome), as if my posts are somehow part and parcel of the thoughts of Donald Trump himself.
When this is all over this phenomenon we see with the TD user known as "Stout" will be studied by psychologists for decades.

As I said earlier, this one doesn't look too bad compared to others.
But I'll give another example. I saw where I think it was the UAE or some country was going to "invest" like 1 trillion or something in our economy. And people cheered.
That's just them buying up companies and such in the US to profit off American labor and such. I don't think that's a good thing.
Look at our beef and pork markets and who owns them. We don't even own some beer companies anymore, they were sold off a long time ago. Dodge is not American. And on and on.
