They can have all the fancy weapons they want. As long as they're made in China we have nothing to fear.

That was their first one. This is their second aircraft carrier and it was built from the keel up in China. Their third is under construction and is going to a flat top style carrier just like we have.

I just read it again to come back here and prove you wrong but you are correct.

Is it just the perspective or does it appear to be a small air craft carrier?

I'm gonna hold my opinion on its greatness til after I hear what Bench McElroy has to say about it.

Specs: LINK

It's my understanding that the max endurance for this ship is approx. 45 days before refueling. U.S. Flatops: indefinitely.

Why is the bow higher than the runway?

How long before a jet clips that thing on takeoff?

When did it leave and start sea trials?

Thanks, makes sense to experiment a bit before going full on.

Afterall from what I've (and many others have) gathered it's not like China sinks a lot of money into R&D, they steal intellectual patents, property and schematics and try it in their homeland.

There's likely not enough food stamps available to purchase this product. Walmart wouldn't offer it to the poors.

I used to have a carrier the same size when I played battleship. I’m sure it’s thebsame technology.

China can build these things but can't maintain them at anything close to the combat-readiness level of our ships. Put "China Aircraft Carrier Rust" into a search engine and read the results.

China doesn't develop shite.

They probably bought an old Indian light carrier, reverse engineered it, and built their own from what they learned.

It is how they do everything.

They probably just asked the Russians for the plans of the one they bought from them.

The Chinese shipyards appear to be quite competent.
