It’s inexplicable that the defense team did not find this and bring it up during jury selection.

That’s some faulty lawyering. Get an assistant or a law clerk or someone to do an exhaustive social media search.

(Assuming they had some heads up on potential jurors in the jury pool. It’d be odd to go into selection without at least having the names, unless Minnesota has some different process for it.)

AMS probably thinks Tom Robinson got a fair trial in To Kill a Mockingbird.

I hope he gets a new trial if no other reason than to watch the progressives melt down.

The second one asked, "Other than what you have already described above, have you, or anyone close to you, participated in protests about police use of force or police brutality?"

...and what was described above? he may well have said he went to the MLK march or participated in BLM activities, which would mean he answered appropriately. seems conveniently left out.

is the MLK march a protest about police brutality? I don't think it is a protest about police brutality, even if it is one of the many topics discussed. basketball isn't a game about coaching substitutions, even though its a part of the sport.

do you have proof that the juror was participating in the protest at the specific area, during the specific minutes spent on police brutality during the day long march? he probably didn't participate in the entire march, he is at a restaurant or bar in the picture. seems like you need to make a lot of assumptions to claim perjury.

So now proof matters?

Is there no level of cognitive dissonance too far?

always did. there doesnt seem to be much proof of perjury but murder 2 was proved beyond reasonable doubt.

Do you think they have to name it “The March about Police Brutality” for it to be a march about police brutality?

I gave quotes above. He’s wearing a shirt talking about police brutality. We’re staring at a blue sky and you’re telling us it’s chartreuse. It’s not a good look.

so we agree MLK march is not about police brutality even if you want to call it by another name

You’re exceptionally obfuscatory in degree. Not in skill.

That's like saying because Dr. King preached love and peace that every MLK Boulevard in America is a non-violent utopia, when it's the exact opposite. Of course an MLK march is going to talk about police brutality.

no but I dont think MLK march is a protest about police brutality like the question specifically asked.
IDC if you posted some quotes. your quotes listed many other topics too. that and the quotes dont prove the juror was participating in the march at the time and location when brutality was being discussed. he may well have been in the restaurant where the pic was taken at that time, or gone home by then.
