It wasn't a 30-06.

You're definitely reading impaired.

What caliber do you believe it was? Maybe not specific caliber but around what size?

I read fine most of the time.

If it wasn't a 30-06 then what was it?

See you have to have a separate theory than Robinson shot him with his grandfather's rifle. You wouldn't be going through all this bullshite

Which includes time-stamping some hunting video pumping up probably the most popular caliber. I mean who hasn't shite a 30-06 that hunts? Unless you only hunt birds.

Ever kill an animal with a 30-06?

Yes dozens. With a Winchester silvertip ballistic 168 gr. I never have an exit wound. Not saying I buy all the details without deep diving into it, just that it does happen.

Not sure. Maybe a fletching of some type, obviously not from a bow; or .22 cal?

Based on the proximity of "the shooter" and his distance from Kirk at the event, have you listened to the report in that confined area?

It's a tiny "CRACK". If I were to go into that same space today with legal authorization to do so and pull off a 30-06 round it would "BOOM", not crack.

The crowd even directly behind the "shooter" doesn't hit the deck.

I would if someone had fired a 30-06 over my head.

My last was an 8pt blacktail in Brookings, OR.

Hit just behind the left shoulder and left 1/2" exit. It was a small animal, too. As most blacktail are out west. 165-170.

Much more that Kirk's neck.

Once again that depends on the round you’re using. Not all rounds will exit, you can shoot a doe with a silvertip ballistic and it will explode inside the body and rarely have an exit. Does a ton of damage, but internally.
