Chances US Balkanizes in next 50 years?

The current state of things, tribalism along political lines, is simply not sustainable. For the first time, at the rate of fracture and broken discourse, I think we see a fractured union within 50 years. Anyone else think that’s possible?

The Mexicans will retake the SW, then the rest of the country.
Blacks will get the South as reparations.
Muslims are educated to raise hell until they reach majority status, then it's sharia time. They'll realize they can't take over Greater Mexico and they will accept the Rust Belt and NE as New Pakistan.

It may be, but I’m old enough to know that discourse has never been so polarized, but young enough to wonder what’s around the bend.
I think the GOPe is pretty center politically but the left is moving to extreme versions of belief and practice.
It’s just not something that will come back together.

It will take some sort of major disaster or economic catastrophe for that to happen IMO.
The conditions are ripe for people to want to break off and do their own thing, however as long as things are going pretty good nobody is going to rock the boat.

I get the satire in your post but it is dripping in truths as well. Have you taken a look at BR soccer teams lately. It’s about 75% Mexicans at public schools.
