This is rich - coming from a fan base that celebrates Cajun culture and the MANY bastardizations of English it brings with it. Of all the things to focus on, this should be way down the list.

I’m not Cajun so that’s irrelevant.

However, regional linguistic issues can be explained. This is nationwide

I cut it down in the interests of time. Demetrius Byrd should also be on there at the least.

At least he was in class I guess.

But seriously, that’s a silly thing to do. At least guys like Chaisson know they’re going to the NFL. None of Hud’s QBs made it.

These guys screw themselves by not taking the “student” part seriously.

What’d Byrd say/do? I don’t recall him being like that but it’s been awhile since he’s played.

I mainly remember him being a prick and dogging on LSU as soon as he left for the draft.

He went from a JuCo transfer to being a WR on a title team and decided to show a lack of class on his way out the door.

Eh, I quoted it from memory. Sue me

I see you misquoted the last line in that verse yourself. I don’t believe Mr Newman used the phrase “expletive deleted” anywhere in the song.

Well, you got me there. When you're right, you're right.

Maybe we should cut him some slack. I mean...he has a misplaced apostrophe in his first name.

Loved him as a Tiger. Young bucks whine a lot about things they don't know a lot about. He'll eventually come around. Or he won't.

Lower those standards mother fricker. Let's always compare anything to the worst. It'll be like having "least favored nation" status in a contract. Don't just drift toward the bottom, rush there.

they are all still posturing. He's going to be the one that has the wildest demands too.

Anyone washing his feet at the start of each quarter? Kissing his bare arse? Stepping down so his uncle Rufus can take "they job"

It’s easy to say that now that he’s a millionaire and he’s set for life, but if this would’ve happened a year ago, you can bet K’Lavon would’ve been one of the first ones tweeting out #wewanttoplay

When he got his signing bonus, he was furious about how much taxes he paid. Yet he will still blindly bash the political side that has actually decreased taxes in favor of a party that has admitted they will not only roll back those tax cuts but raise taxes as well. It’s honestly hilarious

So he has to disagree with everything else because he disagrees with high taxes?

That's stupid.

God, I fricking hate this ridiculous term and how it’s so lazily used in these type discussions. What the frick is an “adult game?”

Anyway, very disappointing from Chaisson to go after Coach O so quickly after leaving. Even more so that he lacks the self-awareness to realize that a man in his late 50s who has been a professional for almost 40 years, at jobs all over the country, might just have a little more experience with real-world issues than a 21-year-old who’s been a pro for about 15 minutes, and sit this one out.

My 11-year-old son has taken an interest in politics lately, and I have preached to him that he can have any opinion that he wants one candidates or issues as long as he is prepared and able to articulate his reasoning, as unsophisticated as they may be at his age. It’s too bad universities aren’t ensuring their students are able to do the same. “Hate Tump? Great. Tell me why. He’s a racist? Awesome. Show me how you came to this conclusion. You can’t? Shut the frick up.”

I’m not talking about Chaisson specifically here. I’m not gonna turn and hate on him so
quickly. He’s young, immature, and ignorant still. I just wish their were some adults surrounding all these guys who can barely legally drink but somehow think they have everything figured out, to maybe take a breath and bite their tongues/fingers for a second before spouting off on Twitter or whatever.

There is zero upside to just about anything they could possibly post, but an abyss of darkened downside. Obviously, any anti-Trump thoughts are pretty well insulated right now and everyone who espouses them emboldened, but still. I think if I were an agent I would strongly encourage—if not insist—they filter their posts through me. Kinda like the joke/saying about background checks for buying firearms (and please don’t turn this into any sort of 2nd Amendment thing, it’s just a metaphor) that “if you feel like you NEED a gun RIGHT NOW, now is probably the LAST TIME you should be getting one.”
If you feel like you have to tweet something RIGHT NOW, you probably shouldn’t be tweeting that right now. Or likely ever.

Btw, did Chaisson attend the trip to the White House when President Grump invited LSU’s entire team to celebrate and honor their historic 2019 National Championship?

He had a lot of issues with the school itself but not Dale, but I would say those are justified.

He did an interview with a sports outlet and the school bitched at him for the shoes he wore in the picture IIRC. Petty shite because he wasn’t hocking the company who had a contract with them.

The bigger issues with him were him talking up how racist the country was and held the black man down despite a poor kid from Gulfport becoming a multi-millionaire.

He's not wrong - it's just not unusual at all for large groups to bastardize English in various ways...yet blacks seem to get singled out.
