But Aunt Jemima isn’t a black-owned company.
It’s like the N-word.
You can only acknowledge certain things if you’re black.

1. Juneteenth is the dumbest name for a holiday.
Throughout much of history, nomenclature is derived through periods of illiteracy and ignorance, in which mis-spellings and poorly understood words become mainstreamed.
LOTS of that...

I completely agree.
“Who dat” makes me cringe.

I’m celebrating by not working and fathering as many children as I can without paying child support. Also going drinking and driving and cannot wait to fight that cracker cop for having the audacity of arresting me

True. But the irony is the current likeness on the bottle was an ongoing legacy of Ethel Ernestine Harper.
She was a celebrated teacher of Black history through schools, the Girl Scouts and as a topical radio host.
She grew up and earned a college degree at age 17, worked as a teacher, and was president of the Birmingham City Federation of Colored Women's Clubs before moving to New York.
And now that likeness is gone forever. And her likeness wasn’t used without permission, she auditioned for it.

What does this mean? Is it another made up Hallmark holiday? Like Kwanza?

I actually think it would make for a good holiday if they change the name, and I am willing to give up labor day for it.
Negative, Ghost Rider! My birthday sometimes falls on Labor Day. However, my Dad's is June 19th; he turned 100 today!

You don't need a holiday for this.

I may have to use some of my white privilege and buy me some Uncle Nearest Premium 1856.

Bamarep wouldn't mind trying that bourbon.

My point was, as I said, why does it feel like—overnight—we threw the switch on “Blackness,” when the US is comprised of other ethnicities as well?
Because they are a tool for the commies on the left. Could you imagine them trying to rally the meek Asians or the disinterested Hispanics to these causes? Because despite only being 12.5% of the population, black people are loud, abrasive and in your face and that's exactly what these sjws need to further their socialist agenda.
An obnoxious mouthpiece.
