Some of those Democrats have proposed mandatory gun buy backs, with door to door enforcement.
And they wouldn't say a damned thing, if fedgov went door to door on catholics, christians, conservatives, republicans, etc.
But. I can honestly say... If I saw a bunch of armed men sweeping the neighborhood I'd damn well be gearing up and making my peace.

The national guard need to be at every polling place, they need to block all the doors with guns, and the only way you’re in if you look Muslim or Indian is that you show a birth certificate. And if you’re a woman with colored hair, you’re not allowed entry

Me either, CB. I missed out on Vietnam (massive violence into my psyche) and I don't think such would affect my character and intent in a positive way.
What I do consider, is that perhaps having the painful calamity of Humanities' dysfunction and collapse being manifest front and center into my current perceptive bubble/character...might push me to levels of awareness and commitment which ease cannot.
I'll leave that up to my loving 'Boss', (Not Wife), Jesus, Savior of Humanity.
