I would say look at the a-holes but Charlie Rose never struck me as an a-hole. That he did it genuinely shocks me.

This only sucks bc they can't blame the conservatives for this
I find this the most interesting thing about the current trend of decades-old revelations against progressives.

These people fought hard against sexual repression and traditionalist male-female roles. They embraced empowering women in the workplace. They championed the causes of feminism and gender equality, and denounced conservative Christian values as oppressive and unrealistic restrictions on adult relationships.

But it's not those holier-than-thou Moral Majority types that are demanding their heads for their private transgressions - it's the very ideals they publicly espoused that have brought them low.

Sowing the wind, indeed.

I have some regrets for missing out on the “fun” part of that. I grew up thinking it would have been a mortal sin. I’m glad I didn’t for my religious beliefs but I’m almost more grateful for the lack of drama.

The worst crime of these women is that it will become difficult for any actual sexual assault/sexual harassment victim to ever be taken seriously again

Maybe the one clear truth in human history is that the pendulum always swings back.

Let's take this one step further:

The only women they want to empower are those women that think and act like them politically. Look at what they do to "conservative" women like Palin, Rice, etc. The list goes on.

They only want to "empower" the women they are harassing and raping, perhaps as a means to pacify them in hopes they would keep quiet...

And that's one of the main problems Progs have in EVERY political situation. They can NEVER think one step ahead on anything. As long as it potentially damages the group the hate NOW, no worries about what happens later.

This is yet another example of that.

I used to tell audiences I was speaking to that I would get nervous and to overcome that, I was advised to look out and imagine the audience as being naked.

Thank you so much. In my industry there are few women, but me and my colleagues have always treated them with great respect.

The irony to this tragedy is that by creating a storm of accusations, they are actually protecting them. Weinsteins of the world are going to become smarter

Don’t blame just the man. Blame every woman who let’s the guy get away with it so that he can go onto hurt other women. Women coming out years after the fact are cowards and part of the problem. Just as the OP said report it “AT THE TIME” that it take place.
