I don’t think that poll would hold up to that level today.

Keep in mind that Catholic women go to Mass much more regularly than their husbands. Wife goes to Mass, Husband stays at home.

So, 58 percent of a group that is largely composed of women is pretty strong support for POTUS Trump's policies.

Like I said earlier in this thread…it’s probably higher today. At least in the South. My family is pretty active in the church across multiple parishes in three different states. Those congregations overwhelmingly support Trump.

Our Catholic church in Tennessee would probably be north of 60%.

I'm not Catholic, but I attend Mass every week with my wife and my two sons who are all baptized Catholic. I was baptized in a Presbyterian church in Alabama.

I see your reading comprehension is wanting. I said would your actions lead to more repression as a result of you engaging in hostilities? Avenging the deaths after the fact is revenge and under the Just War doctrine unallowable.

I doubt that we or even Trump, at al are all that disturbed by the crackdown. AT best we wring our hands say it's terrible and then check up on the score of the football, basketball or baseball game. At worst we are doing it for revenge due to previous transgressions......we don't like any reminders that they once made us to look like chumps....so it's a pride thing .
