Meanwhile, people in Hawaii, Florida and North Carolina/East Tennessee were given a $700 check if they were lucky... and the Biden Admin/FEMA was harrassing volunteers who were there actually trying to help people because they were exposing the ineptitude of Biden's FEMA, not to mention FEMA picking and choosing houses to check on and help based on whether they were Trump supporters or not.

This is all pretty misleading. This money was appropriated by Congress to CBP, who then transferred it to FEMA because they have the most experience administering Federally funded grant programs. FEMA then administered the money for the Shelter and Services Grant Program, which DID provide hundreds of millions of dollars to cities across the country (including NYC) to provide sheltering to undocumented immigrants.
It wasn't "funneled" by CBP and CBP wouldn't have the legal authority to use it on border protection. This was a congressional action that was implemented by CBP and FEMA.

Oh dude it was WAY more than $180M!!!! It was $600M that was appropriated for that purpose. Not arguing that.
The title of this thread is that CBP "funneled" the money to FEMA. If you want to use the term funneling in such a way, then say "US Congress funneled $600M to CBP who then funneled that to FEMA to then funnel it to state and local governments to then funnel those funds into contracts to provide sheltering in old hotels as required by law."
