quote:

Giving amnesty to millions of illegal aliens who are covered and eligible for the President Obama-created Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program would cost American taxpayers a total of $26 billion, according to the Congressional Budget Office (CBO).

The DREAM Act, which is the most expansive amnesty being considered in Congress, would give potentially 3.5 million illegal aliens who are shielded from deportation by DACA and those eligible for DACA a pathway to U.S. citizenship.

quote:

In total, CBO and JCT estimate that changes in direct spending and revenues from enacting S. 1615 would increase budget deficits by $25.9 billion over the 2018-2027 period, boosting on-budget deficits by $30.6 billion and decreasing off-budget deficits by $4.7 billion over that period. Pay-as-you-go procedures apply because enacting the bill would affect direct spending and revenues. [Emphasis added]

quote:

CBO also estimates that providing higher education assistance for newly eligible people under S. 1615 would cost $1.0 billion over the 2018-2022 period; such spending would be subject to the availability of appropriated funds.

The GOPe better not lay an egg here and renew DACA. They are illegals and are criminals! They must go back!

Democrats are incredibly stupid if they are willing to shut down the government over protection of illegal aliens.

The only way Trump would agree to this is to completely end chain migration immediately, end visa lottery, and GUARENTEE WALL funding

Other than than the Dems can go frick themselves

Please give us your explanation on this. I like seeing if people can think on their own or if they just repeat what they read.

A non reply will prove my latter option.

It’s not about repeating talking points. It’s a hard fact. This tax bill will cost the U.S. $1.5 trillion. But, if it’s convenient for you to ignore facts because you don’t like them, then that’s your problem.

I'm not avoiding any facts because you haven't given me any. So you can't lay out the facts?

Ok. Find me an analysis that says this bill doesn’t add $1.5 trillion to the deficit and what I said is patently false.

Because I can easily find you an analysis that says otherwise.

Wall/tax cuts naysayers don’t see big picture! Think of how much the wall will save us through 2100 and 2200. Worth it. Just like tax cuts will add to our national debt in the short run you gotta think big picture in terms of long term fiscal policy

The funny thing about this is that the CBO is notorious for under-estimating the effects they broadcast.

That's all I've asked of you in my last two posts but you circumvent the issue.

You mean to say $1.5 Trillion will stay in the pockets of taxpayers instead of being submittied to Federal Government. The U.S. still has the money and in fact it will be spent in the US economy.

analysis

Every "analysis" I've read is under current budget line items but with reduced funding.

since you want to understand, I'll help. The first rule to holding people accountable with budgets is reduce the flow of money, then make them use it wisely. This is the opposite of how we've run things which is why we have $20T+ in debt (well that an Obama). You cut the funding and then you start cutting programs

Three of those programs are on the first page of the PB page. (hint hint: palestine handouts and UN shitshow... can you guess the 3rd?

Despite record hauls, it isn't enough for Uncle Sugar. It's spending not taxes.

quote:

The federal government collected record amounts of both individual income taxes and payroll taxes through the first six months of fiscal 2017 (Oct. 1, 2016 through the end of March), according to the Monthly Treasury Statement.

quote:

Through March, the federal government collected approximately $695,391,000,000 in individual income taxes. That is about $7,387,280,000 more than the $688,003,720,000 in individual income taxes (in constant 2017 dollars) that the federal government collected in the first six months of fiscal 2016.
