Again, this wasn't a "raid." A raid implies some sort of legal jurisdiction in action. No, it wasn't a raid. It was theft of government property. Some people from the CIA went in in the dead of night and stole the documents.

The only way this ends, is if the Good guys take a lot of the Bad guys, and “make them not exist”…. Investigations won’t work. We need to go full Cold War-style espionage & Mafia-style “get rid da duh problem, capisce?”

It's not that these people are appointed by Democrats. This problem is far older than that. What is happening here is that things are being exposed that point at the CIA being deeply involved in American governance and guilty of serious crimes. Like a cornered animal, they will fight to protect themselves.
Don't forget folks, Trump declared that he was going to take on the intelligence community and win. He's doing exactly that.
The best way to do that, it appears, is simply to start declassifying their darkest secrets. They'll trip over their own dicks trying to protect those secrets.

Again, the term "raid" implies some sort of legal action with a warrant. That's not what this was. And that is why people are denying that it was a raid, which is what was in the post I was responding to.
What they did is they did all those things you say and then went into the ODNI in the dead of night and stole 40 boxes worth of documents. Not a raid. But theft.

There isn't. The POTUS doesn't have the authority to do that stuff unilaterally. CIA is a Statutory Agency created by Congress. It would have to be done through them.
What he can do is appoint the director, appoint the agenda, etc. He can fire people within the agency. He can direct the DNI to conduct an audit, but even she can't shut them down entirely.
