Your response to anything Rasmussen should be "dr". Look at his methodology. He calls only landlines. The only people I know who have landlines are my parents.

So here's Rassmussen's remedy for the declining use of landlines:

quote:

To reach those who have abandoned traditional landline telephones, Rasmussen Reports uses an online survey tool to interview randomly selected participants from a demographically diverse panel.

I get your point. Still, I'll be curious to see what other polls show as the election nears.

I think she's done. Not because I want her to be-I do.

I just think the tide is against her.

neither my inlaws or my parents have landlines.

I am the only person I know that has a landline, and that is for work.

I'm ready for Cassidy to start his offensive and I'm ready for the tea party far right crowd to either support him or stfu and get out of the way.
The dems had a commercial running this past weekend with a typical BS swipe at Cassidy. They were painting h as mean to old people because he voted against their programs so he could help the millionaires or something along those lines

If Rasmussen's technique is suspect, which I agree with Vegas Bengal it is, then this is an outlier.

But the most important point of all of these polls is that she is polling way below 50%. That's usually a death sentence for an incumbent.

I'm wondering when Cassidy will open up, too.

I haven't seen any Mary/Moon ads lately either.

This is basically every Landrieu ad I've seen against Cassidy.

Throwing granny off a cliff, tax breaks for millionaires, etc. The most basic of Democrat talking points that only the most uninformed and least critical thinking people believe. Seems like a terrible strategy since those people are already voting for her anyway.

Well, they are probably also converting alot of old people who are no uninformed and scared. These people might have voted republican their whole lives, but this kind of bullshite will get them to switch.

It was a late push with lots of ads like this that allowed Blanco to beat Jindal the first time he ran. He played nice and did not fire back and I think he lost alot of the elderly vote.
I know my grandpa and many of his friends were swayed by this strategy.

No need to worry Landrieu lovers. The cemetary residents don't respond to polls like they do on election day.

If you're arguing that the poll is skewed toward Republicans, I'd warn that Rasmussen has had the best, or near best, numbers for Obama of any pollster for a while. For example, the latest Gallup has Obama at 38% approval. Rasmussen, meanwhile, has him at 47%. In fact, no one else is over 44% for him.

Her highest showing in any poll so far for Nov. 4th is 44% (PPP conducted in the last week of June). All that matters for now is that she stay under that 50% mark after the "undecideds" make up their minds, and then roll the dice on Saturday, December 6th when, depending on the results from other states on Nov. 4th, the entire country could have its eyes on Louisiana.

Hmmm, Dec. 6th - SEC Championship game.

Could be a night for a big double celebration for a lot of us!

Note: For those who like political drama, there's a tiny little chance that Louisiana's Senate result in December will still leave undecided the question of which party will rule the Senate for the last two years of Obama's term.

The sooner the people stop with this bullshite excuse and help get the vote out for Cassidy, the better we will all be.

You are unaware Rasmussen left the company?

Suddenly the left loves the Rasmussen poll

She's the incumbent. If an incumbent is polling under 50%, the undecided, or those voting for a candidate other than the main opposition usually break for the main challenger in a run off.

Cassidy's team, or someone has done their homework, I would be representative of the voting demographic they would be interested in, and for months they have targeted my web activity with anti Mary ads, also there are similar ads all day on Fox News channel during the day when retires are home.

I'm really beginning to think there's a strong possibility that Cassidy wins it outright.

I think the disgust with her is so strong that a lot of people who thought they were going to go with Maness will save themselves a month of TV ads, and just flip the switch for Cassidy.
