you people still don't understand establishment democrats hate this progressive movement stop giving them credit

Is that why they keep telling the progressives to fight in the streets?

Is that why they keep refusing to prosecute progressives that riot and attack law enforcement?

Is that why every democrat presidential candidate supports healthcare for illegals?

Is that why democrats support boys in girls sports?

Is that why the democrats continually push progressive policies in their strongholds like NY, CA, WA, OR, and MI?

Because they hate the progressive movement?

The evidence doesn't support your claim.

Growing up in the Cold War era I remember watching the Berlin Wall finally come down, the dissolving of the USSR, and would have been unfathomable at the time to imagine us being where we are in 2026.

Never take anything for granted.

Reagan said as much in his farewell address as president.

The destruction of the world was always going to happen. Just a matter of how long it took.

Revelation lays it out.

Right wingers contend daily that they were the champions of civil rights in the Civil War era and they should get the credit for freeing the slaves and expanding the rights of citizenship. Today’s Republican Party is obviously different.

Ah, it would appear you’re a believer of this magical party-switch that somehow occurred back around the 1950s.

Yes. And I believe it will continue to do so.

They will also gladly take the reins of government from the GOP, who fricking hates to govern and lives to be in the minority.

This is the perception but it's a slightly truncated parallax.

They don't really hate to govern. They're Uniparty Swampers just like the Dims and they're merely playing the role of controlled opposition flawlessly and masterfully. There are some conservative US House members that are true patriots and notable outliers, but they number in the low single digits, and are outnumbered by over 530 Establishment Uniparty stooges.

No. They hate it. They have hated it since Newt dragged them kicking and screaming to the majority in 1994.

They want to go back to the minority. It was easy. No one expects results. They can whine and bitch and fundraise complaining about what the mean old Dems are doing. They can go be feted on the Sunday talk shows because the media knew they were harmless. They could go to the tony DC cocktail parties because they were controlled opposition.

They want to be the Washington Generals.
