She already said she isn't retiring with Drumpf in the white house
She won't live 7.5 years, so tough shite for her.
Now that the Senate has gone constitutional. expect Kennedy and Thomas to retire in the next 3 years.
More than likely At least one of RBG and Breyer won't outlive his term.
Trump Will get to secure a conservative court for the next 30+ years.

The thing that liberals don't get is that the ideal judge would be someone for whom you had no idea what their personal beliefs were
If a subject came before them that wasn't specifically addressed in the Constitution they would simply say well looks like this is the legislature's job
Yes that's what they should do even if it's something that seems wrong on its face. That is how a good and proper functioning government should work.
Make the legislature do its job. A judge's personal feelings on a subject should be completely fricking irrelevant

I would like to add that the framers really did frick up on one point. I have to assume dementia existed back then too. Why in the frick did they go with lifetime appointments?

If there was a Dead Pool wager for SCOTUS, where do you think she would fall?
Posted on 4/7/17 at 7:12 pm to Rekrul
With the leadership of Schumer, democrats chose to die on the wrong hill. Big strategic error on the democrats as it allows the next SCOTUS nomination to be anticlimactic irrespective of the volume of rhetoric. It also allows the president next time to nominate a real firebrand conservative. That change will be felt for generations.

Is that what your boy Obama did with Scalias replacement?
Thought not.
Elections have consequences I hope Trumps next nominee is Robert Bork.

Yeah the Democrats kind of burned any reason to pick a moderate for RBG.
They tried to block Gorsuch taking Scalia's seat. They'll block anybody.

Maybe she'll be found with a pillow over her face like Scalia was. #tinfoilhat

What about Janice Rogers Brown replacing Kennedy, Pryor replacing Thomas, and then dropping the GOAT troll by nominating Garland to replace RBG?

The liberals will hang on like grim death. Only the reaper will open up their seats.
Trump selecting Gorsuch will make Kennedy and Thomas more comfortable about retiring in Trump's first term. One this year and one next, before the midterms.
Ginsburg was selfish by not retiring during the Obama years. Liberals should curse her.

She'll retire when she dies. Just needs to hold on for four years. Republicans will keep the Senate at midterm, but come 2020, the senate will be turning blue and somebody young will probably emerge to take the presidency back.
