i would imagine that there has been mass deletions for weeks now.
my theory is they were always going to sell but bought time to start the paper shredders by acting like they weren't

if they have nefarious things to hide that would hurt the agenda, there's no way on earth they're just going to hand that over.

Yup, and how they are controlling things in the background. How the left has so much power over people by sending them little nuggets of what was found. I have no doubt Google and others that have clouds do this for the Lefties.

And it doesn't haven't have to be negative "wouldn't want mother to know" type of things either. Ie...anyone that use g-mail/suite and goes into a business deal with Google is an idiot.

Does anyone think that the true believers who work at Twitter HQ will engage in some sort of sabotage prior to Elon fully taking over?

I see Musk going after them in court if they do.

Im doubtful that anything will come out. Data loss happens all the time. Fires happen all the time. There is no way anyone in government is exposed on twitter without a fail safe to prevent Elon from discovering things.

Hell part of me thinks this was Jack Dorseys attempt to destroy Trumps social media platform.

Ugh, not for companies like twitter. Or any cloud based entity now. Twitter is not in s singular server room in someone's apartment closet

Let's talk about what the got going on. At one point Twitter was running some of the largest Hadoop clusters and those were in CA and GA. Each of those sites would have rack redundancy, as well as offline backups. What we have so far
-Geo redundancy
-Site Redundancy
-Disaster Recovery

They are (were) public traded, this information is known and has to be tested in audits.

The also moved part of their items to Google Cloud. If Google was unable to recover that information, it would cost Google into the billions $. Even though politically they may align, their reputation would take a huge hit if they were unable to retrieve data or allowed permanent removal of data from disgruntal employees.

The amount of cover-up it would take to remove information and make that change not detectable would be at the level of a state sponsored event and not achievable with the IT force employed by Twitter or Google alone.

It simply would take too many people across multiple companies to complete and would just take one whistle blower.
