That was a nice job of laying the groundwork for claiming it was all a failure long before the outcome is known. You've arrived at your conclusion before the game is over and in the absence of any data.
At best, you can only point to a volatile stock market. And it's true, at present we are off almost 6% YTD, but also up 5% at 52 weeks. The sky is hardly falling. That said, we could be off another 1000points by Friday.
But it's only Trump and his lackeys doing the "spinning".

The hard working citizens of the middle class USA have been getting screwed by unfair free trade Globalist policies for over 50 years. Then one guy named Donald Trump almost gets himself killed because he wants to get a better deal for us comes along.

You couldn't be more wrong. They are in response to tariffs AND other things. It was never a one-purpose tariff policy. In case you were not aware:
1) Tariff countries that are involved in getting fentanyl into the USA
2) Tariff countries helping illegals get to USA
3) Tariff countries taking american jobs
4) tariff countries putting tariffs on american goods and services
The tariff policy has always been about USA first and whatever that will encompass.
