Wrote, sponsored and PASSED gun control. Sorry, I forgot their huge campaign to push this through the Senate thanks to Cornyn, Cassidy and Graham. There definitely wasn't an equal/greater campaign against it in the Senate.

Years ago Louis Black had a bit where he said the Democrats were the party of bad ideas and the Republicans were the party of no ideas. He was correct.
The only time they seem to stick together on anything is when they're joining democrats.

This is why Jeff Landry belongs in the House, and not the Governor's Mansion.
We could have Sen Foghorn cracking in the Senate and Rep Landry cracking in the House.
Both of them jabbing fingers in the eyes of the left.
Neither one of them are leaders or can actually accomplish anything, but sometimes you just need someone to be a PITA.

What has this man done as a U.S. Senator? He’s click bait for Forbes and C-Span…rails on nominees who he knows will sail through the evil Dems (his former party), while mindless sheep applaud him for pithy gotchas.
It’s a clown world full of soft-handed, effeminate politicians like Kennedy on Republican side that are worse than Democrats because they at least do what they say they’ll do in destroying America.
