re: Can We Agree with Sen. Kennedy that Deporting Garcia to ES was a Screw Up?

I don't have sympathy for Abrego Garcia. Why would you honor the deportation orders but not honor the same "do not deport to El Salvador" order from the same court?

Kennedy has the same position as me. Is he "shilling for illegal gang members?"
Posted on 4/22/25 at 5:55 pm to IvoryBillMatt
Because that order was issued in 2019. Six years ago. And he is an ILLEGAL ALIEN.
Enough is enough.
Where is the due process for Rachel Morin and her family?
Hypocrites.

How is weeping for this imaginary due process for an el Salvador born terrorist different than trying to sue the Obama administration because they killed Osama bin Laden without due process?

I have never said anything different than what Kennedy says here.

You think Kennedy was weeping for Abrego Garcia?

Can we agree that answering a question with a straw man question is poor form in a civilized discussion?

It wasn't a straw man question. I actually thought most people REALLY thought "yes, it was a mistake, but I don't care."
Funny you would bring up straw man fallacy:
"A straw man fallacy (sometimes written as strawman) is the informal fallacy of refuting an argument different from the one actually under discussion, while not recognizing or acknowledging the distinction.[1] One who engages in this fallacy is said to be "attacking a straw man".
This is what the overwhelming number of responses have been to me. I have never once advocated for Abrego Garcia to remain in the US or be returned here. I am for removing ALL illegal aliens.
Instead of responding to what I actually argue, most people paint me as being pro-illegal aliens or unconcerned about the safety of Americans or arguing some CRAZY legal theory
...despite EVERY single judge or justice who has reviewed the case agreeing with what I said.

Nope. He was here illegally. TWICE he'd been ordered deported by TqqWO different judges.
IF thats not enough, he'd been in trouble with the law several times. He had to go.
Everything else after the above is simply semantics, talking points for condescending asaholes attempting to demonstrate their superior knowledge of Constitutional Law.
No superior knowledge needed for this, simple reasoning will suffice.

Yes, thank you. So how is this guy different than OBL, according to the law?

I have yet to see ANYONE on this Board argue that Abrego Garcia should not have been deported or that he should be allowed to live in the US.
As I have said repeatedly, I thought the Trump Immigration people should have deported Abrego Garcia in 2019 when they had the chance.
Your attempt to tie my position to Rachel Morin's murder is as intellectually dishonest as it is despicable.

Is ANYONE on this Board arguing that Abrego Garcia couldn't or shouldn't have been deported? I'm not.

The execution of OBL was in accordance with the law, the AUMF:
"The Authorization for Use of Military Force (AUMF) was enacted on September 18, 2001, in response to the September 11 attacks. It authorized the President to use force against those nations, organizations, or persons he determines planned, authorized, committed, or aided the terrorist attacks, including Osama Bin Laden and his organization, Al Qaeda."
The deportation TO EL SALVADOR (he could have been deported literally anywhere else) was illegal because it violated a Trump Immigration Judge's order:

Senator Kennedy is a soundbite cuck

Your attempt to make this a significant issue when an ILLEGAL ALIEN had SIX YEARS to resolve their deportation order to their liking while at the same time IGNORING the murder of a US citizen makes you contemptible.
Hypocrite.
Hypocrite.

That's a very reasonable judgment...and I appreciate it. I always think, "if I could just explain it better." I will let it go after this.
I thought Senator Kennedy explained it better than anyone else: that the Trump Administration made a mistake and then bowed up by pretending that they hadn’t made a mistake...and that was understandable because the Left would have ripped out the Administration's throat for admitting a mistake.

It's not a significant issue, other than the lying about the legality of the deportation to El Salvador.
What makes you think I'm IGNORING the murder of Rachel Morin? I started a thread on the White House press conference featuring her mother because I thought the issue was so important and moving. Did you start any threads on the issue?
4/16/25 Thread On Morin Press Conference
Again, your comments are just as wrong as they are despicable.
