I interpreted it as Trump calling for peaceful protests and that it was an ugly day all around because both sides were instigating violence. The car driver was a murderer or terrorist - whatever you want to call him - but the violent people on both sides need to be condemned.

I really hope you're not as big of a stupid frick in real life as you play on the internet. It seems like more of an act that you play the constant contrarian and like to be the guy who goes against the grain of popular opinion and common sense. And if it's your way of entertaining yourself to get thru the mononitny of the work day I don't really blame you. I've always liked having a few alters on hand for the same purpose. But if it's not an act I really feel sorry for you and the people who come into contact with you.

The right time was after Berkeley. Did Trump call out ANTIFA after Berkeley? I can't remember. Or any other time in which ANTIFA was the main culprits of violence.
Trump handled this weekend awfully. Why couldn't he stop after Monday's statement?
The mother of the victim made a statement appreciating that's Trump called out both sides. Seemed to help her in her troubled time.
So there's your silver lining.

Growing up in Mississippi, I've seen Klan marches. You know what we did? Laugh. They looked ridiculous and maybe twelve people showed up. The funny part being they were being protected and escorted by huge black state troopers.
But no. Now the media says being silent or calm means you are complicit in their message. To show you don't agree with them, you must hate them, by words and actions.
That's not how rational adults should act.
Do I hate white supremacists? No. I don't know them. I think they are idiots because of their message. Why resort to violence when their stance can easily be defeated with rational thought?
