I hope that is still the case (not the event obviously but the response) but I’m not sure it is. Look at the coverage of Trump during hurricane Harvey. A massive natural disaster affected the rich poor etc and personally I think everyone left or right local state national did exactly what they should do yet google trump and hurricane Harvey and all you get is articles parsing every single word he said and about melania wearing heels
