Yeah I agree with this. I still think the far left/progressives make up a much smaller portion of the population than many in the right realize because the media/social media amplifies the shite out of them.
However, the party is headed in that direction. Look at Cortez’s soaring popularity. In a two party system with binary choices we can easily elect someone like this and head downhill fast. It will be the moderates and principled conservatives who don’t realize what they are doing and are really casting an anti-Trump vote or whomever it is at the time.
All bets are off then.

No because the left has become totally intolerant of conservative view points. They will only accept progressive ideas and are willing to use any means necessary to achieve their ends. By contrast, we MAGA’S are willing to accept other people’s viewpoints and live in harmony. Unless the Libs are willing to do likewise the future looks concerning.
