Can somebody explain why this wouldn't give the election to DeSantis in a landslide

I still can't understand the left's motivation in doing this to Trump now and trying to prevent him from running all together, versus doing it to republican candidate Trump so that it hands the election to the Dem nominee. If they keep Trump from running, in this way, wouldn't that simply push people to DeSantis in numbers we've likely never seen?

Good grief! Do you really believe that if the Left criminally uses the political might of the perceived ILLEGITIMATE POTUS Biden to take out THE most popular Candidate/challenger to him that the folk will then just lay down and move to another less popular candidate? If they'll do that, the sky is the limit to what they won't do. And Trump Nation knows it.
This is the beginning of real momentum toward their "engineered" collapse and reboot. Just a matter of who finally is left standing and in control. Local control most likely.

That's my point. If they take out Trump now then everybody still has DeSantis as a choice, why not wait to take Trump out after he's already the nominee? This will motivate people even more to vote out these psychos, if they take Trump out then DeSantis will get all his votes and win anyway. Why not take out Trump the presidential candidate instead of Trump the maybe Republican candidate?
