There was not enough evidence to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that Trump obstructed justice.
Mueller was upset that Barr published the bottom line conclusions from the report and said so in a March 27 letter. Democrats spent several hours arguing over whether Barr’s publication was a “summary.” No real reason for this discussion. Barr did not want to present piece-meal summaries of the report. Barr released the entire report, less one tenth of one percent, which was redacted in mid-April.

Barr will be doing lots more investigating based on things discovered in the report and leaks that came during the report.

Total Dem meltdown. Barr owned them, specifically by pointing out elementary legal concepts to cry baby’s.
Theme of the day:
Dems: But but Trump did this
Barr: but that is not illegal
Dems: But Trump did that

Dems: But, But, blah blah blah orange man bad, your bad.....But Trump did this too.
Barr: but that is also not illegal.
Followed by, but he did some bad things and lied about some things. Answered again by, but what he did and lied about was not illegal.
It seemed like every Dem hoped they could find one or two lines in the report that would change its findings if they pressed it on him.
They even went as far as to ask him if he had reviewed all the evidence used to create the report to which he pretty much replied that that was Muller’s job and why he had to write the report. His job was to report the findings of the report and make a decision based on the findings in the report. Again going down the road of being pissed Muller didn’t give them what they wanted so now they want him to do that.
Republicans thanked him for his hard work, asked him to state the findings again and inquired if there were any other investigations based on the report and pretty much asked him to dig into how the whole thing got started.
It was fun to watch.
