Texas is the only state with our own power grid.
That’s huge.
And the newly opened Bullion Depository doesn’t hurt.
quote:

The Texas Bullion Depository is a bullion depository based in Texas in the United States. It was the first state-administered depository to be established in the United States, previous depositories were either at federal level or private companies. Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar announced it was open for business on June 6, 2018.

In 2017, the Comptroller’s office partnered with Lone Star Tangible Assets (LSTA) as the vendor to build and operate the depository. LSTA, a Texas-based company that also owns precious metals dealers U.S. Gold Bureau and WholesaleCoinsDirect.com, operates a highest-rated, Class 3 vault that serves as the depository’s initial location.

Planning for a permanent home for the Texas Bullion Depository began in 2018, at a site in Leander, Texas that should be completed in 2019. Tom Smelker, director of Comptroller Treasury Operations, was named administrator of the depository in 2017.

The depository eliminates the need for out-of-state storage and gives Texas the opportunity to become a “commodities hub for the continent,” according to Rep. Giovanni Capriglione, R-Southlake. Free from the jurisdiction of governmental or quasi-governmental authority beyond the state of Texas, the depository offers a safe storage facility for the bullion of both institutions and individuals and creates a more stable Texas economy.

The depository accepts deposits of gold, silver, platinum, palladium and rhodium.

Don't need to, you guys in the country will join willingly.

Arkansas would probably join up, hell with Missouri, nobody wants them any how.

I just want to crush New Mexico and Colorado.

Love those states and their people but hey sure don't take kindly to Texans. It is all in jest.

Bring it on. We will retreat into the Ozarks and and leave you reeling come Spring.

THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT RECOGNIZES STATE DEFENSE FORCES UNDER 32 U.S.C. SUB SECTION109. MEANING THAT THEY CANNOT BE CALLED, ORDERED, OR DRAFTED INTO THE ARMED FORCES OF THE UNITED STATES UNDER 32 U.S.C. SUB SECTION109. THE MISSOURI DEFENSE FORCE CANNOT BE FEDERALIZED UNLIKE THE MISSOURI NATIONAL GUARD.

Based on this lineup, I think you see Texas and Georgia coming to an agreement (the Lousiana deal), and take control of the Southeast. From there, if they don't have to worry about a Hitler/Stalin betrayal, they can spread outwards and ultimately isolate Cali and NY.

California would have its own civil war. There are rural people there that hate their government and would gladly take up arms against them. The whole south would team up together along with a lot of mid-western states, we would wreck shite.

As it should be.
Components of our military trump fedgov as well.
I’d love to see all states exercise more of the control they already have, by law.

Texas Military Department
quote:

it is charged with providing the security of Texas, which has the second largest population and border in the United States, and the tenth largest economy in the world. It also provides administration of the Texas Military Forces (TXMF), the principle instrument through which it executes security policy. TXMF currently include the Texas Army National Guard, Texas Air National Guard, and Texas State Guard. It formerly included the Texas Rangers, Texas Army, Texas Navy, and Texas Marines.

quote:

The Texas Military Department is commanded by the Adjutant General of Texas, who is appointed by and reports to the Governor of Texas. Headquartered at Building Eight in Camp Mabry, TMD's stated mission is to "provide the Governor and President with ready forces in support of state and federal authorities at home and abroad." It is empowered by Article 4, Section 7 of the Texas Constitution to "execute the laws of the State, to suppress insurrections, and to repel invasions.”
