There's no way orange county was blue in 2020. They were pulling some shenanigans there, no doubt. Coastal Orange County is one of the most conservative places on earth. And that is not an exaggeration.

I was about to say, Orange County voting red isn’t anything new.

Just the idiots but unfortunately they seem to be a majority. Plus illegals vote and no voter id is allowed.

And that's with a net outflow of conservatives from the state. At least that's my guess. I'd welcome any analysis on who is leaving CA for TX and other places.
I lived in L.A. for 11 years (2009-2020), and experiences vary by industry. Mine was so liberal that even appearing on a conservative podcast could end your career. Many won’t move to places like Texas or Tennessee, fearing “red state” living, until forced to.
With remote work more common in 2024, staying in L.A. isn’t necessary to stay connected. This shift means liberal-minded people are free to move and influence other areas, so my experience isn’t unique.
While people say conservatives are leaving California, I see a mix. Many strong liberals I know have moved to Idaho, Arizona, Tennessee, or Texas. Some former conservatives turned Democrat due to Trump after moving to TN (they are all dumb arse women). My ex-manager, a lifelong Republican who moved to Nashville, she switched parties after 2016 and won’t vote Republican again (no pics).
Nashville isn’t as liberal as L.A., which is a relief. It felt freeing to be openly Republican, even in a liberal field.

Imagine if they gave us the real numbers

B1 Bob was the best*
* He was also why C-SPAN started showing the empty chambers during a congressman's speech. Dornan would go off on these diatribes at the end of the day open times. After awhile, C-SPAN didn't like the impression B1 Bob was excoriating a full chamber so they'd cut away to the empty chambers

I will take every victory I can in that state, but Schiff who is the biggest loser of all time beat Steve Garvey 57 to 42, which is probably more indicative for their electorate.

My sister who has always been extremely liberal since she was indoctrinated in a liberal arts/theatre college voted R for the first time. She lives in Long Beach, CA and has been a Californian for about 12 years. She recently started doing physical therapy at the VA and got to see first hand how the veterans are being treated by the current administration and it completely disgusted her. She is as MAGA as ever now. She completely hated Donald Trump's guts 4 years ago. People are waking up!!!!

California hasn’t had that much red since 2004 election

Only 141 million voted?
We need a lot more votes than that.

If only Reagan didn't push amnesty for those illegals.
