Amazing how there are people who still think SCOTUS's rulings and the Constitution are just suggestions.

All the Republicans who bitch about crime and Democrats who sat on their fat asses and didn’t vote can only blame themselves.

This is Shreveport we’re talking about. All the Republicans probably DID vote!

That was the policy when Whitehorn was chief of police.

Yep, this isn't going to end well for Caddo Parish. Republicans sat home while Whitehorn supporters showed up.

How do you figure that? Shreveport is only 35% white, so I would say the Republican performed pretty well, actually.

28.1% turnout.

What’s the number of registered republicans versus democrats in Shreveport?

Low turnout usually means fewer democrats voting.

The 507 seems suspect as well.

Shreveport... will be thugland.

I'm not from there, but last time I drove through I had to stop at a Walmart. Chicken bones on the store floor, pants below the arse for a large portion of patrons. I was not impressed. I believe it may already be thugland?

I left in August. It could be crawling for all I care. Thugs kill their own (can't tell you how many times kids got killed in their homes with neighborhood shootings and drive byes), steal from their own, and then blindly protect all that. Not that it matters because Louisiana has very sympathetic DAs. Not that any of that matters because to top off the Louisiana criminal love pie, we have the Louisiana Reinvestment Package that minimizes punishment in order to, get this, reduce prison populations. Let's take care of our inmates and criminals and then worry about the safety of the public second.

Glad to be out.
